국문 초록

본고의 목적은 언어학적 측면에서 갈등을 살펴봄으로써 갈등의 분류와 원인뿐만 아니라 언어학적 이론을 기반으로 한 갈등연구 가능성을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 갈등대화의 특성과 패턴을 이해하고 갈등대화에서의 언어적 전략과 특성을 살펴본다. 갈등과 분쟁은 우리 삶에 있어서 필연적이다. 우리의 관점과 이해가 다양하기에 갈등은 당연한 결과이기 때문이다. 갈등은 당연히 비언어적으로도 수행되지만, 언어를 매개로 할 때 더욱 효과적으로 표현된다. 이는 언어적 기호가 상이한 견해나 이해관계의 충돌을반영할 수 있기 때문이다. 갈등의 해결은 상호이해와 효과적인 대화에 근거하며 상대방의 시각을 이해하고 존중하는 것이 핵심이다. 이러한 관점에서 갈등의 언어학적 고찰은 사회적 갈등의 이해와 해결에중요한 역할을 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to explore the classification and causes of conflict, as well as to investigate the potential for conflict research based on linguistic aspects. Conflict and discord are inevitable in our lives because our perspectives and understandings are diverse, making conflict a natural outcome. To achieve this, we seek to understand the characteristics and patterns of conflict discourse and examine the linguistic strategies and features employed in conflict dialogue. Conflict naturally manifests itself in non-verbal forms, but it is more effectively expressed when mediated through language. This is because linguistic symbols can reflect differences in opinions, conflicting understandings, and clashes of interests. The resolution of conflicts is rooted in mutual understanding and effective dialogue, emphasizing the importance of comprehending and respecting the other party's perspectives. From this perspective, linguistic scrutiny of conflict plays a crucial role in understanding and resolving societal conflicts.
