대학 신입생의 학습참여, 자기효능감이 디지털 시민성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학 신입생의 학습참여, 자기효능감이 디지털 시민성에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2023년 5월 8일부터 2023년 5월 10일까지 인천광역시에 위치한 4년제 I 대학의 신입생 기초필수 교과목 수강자 중 219명을 대상으로 데이터를 수집하여 상관분석 및 중다회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학 신입생의 학습참여, 자기효능감은 디지털 시민성의 인지영역, 정의영역, 행동영역과 모두 정적이며 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 대학 신입생의 학습참여, 자기효능감이 디지털 시민성에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 학습참여의 학업도전, 교우와 학습, 효과적인 교수 그리고 자기효능감의 자기조절효능감, 자신감이 인지영역의 46%, 정의영역의 41%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학습참여의 학업도전, 교우와 학습, 효과적인 교수 그리고 자기효능감의 자기조절효능감이 행동영역의 46%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 학부교육 차원에서디지털 시민성 함양을 위한 교육을 설계하는 데 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of student engagement and selfefficacy on digital citizenship among college freshmen. To this end, correlation and multiple regression analyses were conducted on 219 freshman basic compulsory courses students at a four-year I university located in Incheon Metropolitan City from 8 May 2023 to 10 May 2023. The results are as follows. First, student engagement and self-efficacy of college freshmen were significantly correlated with cognitive, justice, and behavioural dimensions of digital citizenship. Second, when examining the impact of student engagement and self-efficacy on digital citizenship of college freshmen, it was found that academic challenge, peers and learning, effective teaching, and self-regulatory efficacy and confidence of self-efficacy explained 46% of the cognitive dimension and 41% of the justice dimension. In addition, academic challenge, peers and learning, effective teaching, and self-regulatory efficacy of self-efficacy explained 46% of the behavioural component of student engagement. The findings of this study can be applied to the design of educational programs at the undergraduate level to foster digital citizenship.
