국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니 그릿에 따른 자녀 그릿의 장기적인 변화를 살펴보는 목적이 있다. 분석자료는 한국아동 청소년패널조사(KCYPS) 데이터로 2018년 기준 중학교 1학년과 부모 총 2,590명 총 4개년 자료를활용하여 최종 분석 대상자는 주요 변수 총 4개년 자료 중 2개년 이상 자료가 있는 자녀 및 어머니2,275쌍이다. 분석자료는 SPSS 28.0과 M-plus 8.0 프로그램을 활용하였으며, 잠재성장모형 무조건적모형과 조건적 모형의 2단계에 걸쳐 분석하였다. 연구결과 어머니와 자녀의 그릿은 시간의 지남에 따라감소하는 것으로 확인되었다. 어머니 그릿 초기값이 높을수록 아동 그릿 초기값이 높았으나, 시간의 흐름에 따라 자녀 그릿은 급격하게 감소하는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 어머니 그릿의 변화율은 시간의 흐름에 따라 어머니 그릿이 완만하게 감소할수록 자녀 그릿은 완만하게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 어머니의 그릿과 자녀의 그릿의 관계를 종단적 분석을 통해 어머니 그릿이 자녀 그릿에 미치는장기적인 영향을 확인하고 자녀 그릿 발달 연구에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study ato examine the long-term changes in children's grit according to maternal grit. The analysis data utilized the 2018 data from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS), consisting of a total of 2,590 1st grade middle school students and their parents over a period of 4 years. The final analysis included 2,275 pairs of children and mothers who had data for at least 2 years among the 4 years of major variables. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 28.0 and M-plus 8.0 programs, and latent growth modeling was analyzed in two stages: unconditional and conditional models. The results of the study confirmed that both maternal and child grit decreased over time. In other words, higher initial maternal grit led to higher initial child grit, but child grit sharply decreased over time. Furthermore, the rate of change in maternal grit was found to be associated with the rate of change in child grit, with a gradual decrease in maternal grit corresponding to a gradual decrease in child grit over time. This study aims to confirm the long-term impact of maternal grit on child grit through longitudinal analysis and provide foundational data for the study of child grit development.
