국문 초록

본 연구에서는 방탄소년단의 곡인 와 의 음악적 특성이 분석되었다. 이 두 곡은빌보드 차트에 1위에 오르고 ‘톱 셀링 송’을 수상하면서 전 세계적으로 인기를 누린 방탄소년단의 대표곡들이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 방탄소년단의 음악 분석을 통해 이들의 음악적 특성을 유추하는 것이었다. 연구에서는 두 곡의 악보와 음원을 토대로 곡의 가사, 구조, 비트, 선율 등이 분석되었다. 분석 결과, 두 곡은 가사의 내용, 구조, 리듬 면에서 공통점을 보이고 있었으며 선율적으로도 매우유사한 특성을 보이고 있었다. 결론적으로 방탄소년단의 와 는 공통적인 음악적요소를 뚜렷이 갖추고 있었다. 이러한 연구의 결과는 향후 엔터테인먼트 산업의 방향성을 제시하는 데유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

ln this study, the musical characteristics of BTS's songs “Dynamite” and “Butter” are analyzed. These two songs can be considered representative songs of BTS, as they have been popular all over the world and have reached number 1 on the Billboard charts. The purpose of this study is to derive their musical characteristics by analyzing the music of BTS. In this study, lyrics, the structural characteristics, beat, and melody of the two songs are analyzed based on their scores and sound recordings. The analysis shows that the two songs have common characteristics in terms of lyrical content, structure, beat, and form, and also have very similar characteristics in terms of melody. In conclusion, it is clear that BTS's “Dynamite” and “Butter” share common musical elements. The results of this study are expected to be useful in suggesting the direction of the entertainment industry in the future.
