국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 가상박물관 플랫폼을 이용하여 DMZ의 문화예술 경험을 확장하는데 목적을 둔다. DMZ는 역사적, 정치적, 군사적, 생태학적, 지정학적으로 평화와 대립, 공존이라는 특수성을 지나며 전세계적으로 관심을 받으며 한반도의 특수한 상황을 여실히 보여주는 지정학적 특성이 있다. 주목할 점은 기존의 DMZ문화예술활동은 직접적인 참여로 이루어 지는 경우가 대부분이다. 하지만 DMZ가 가지고 있는 접근성의 어려움과 제한된 정보, 시대적 문화차이로 인해 문화예술 컨텐츠의 확장에 어려움이있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 3D 레이저 프로젝션 맵핑이나 3D 스캐닝을 활용한 가상뮤지엄 같은 디지털플랫폼이 이러한 한계점을 보완하는데 중요한 역할을 할 것이라 가정하고 기존의 DMZ내의 문화예술활동 사례를 통해 현 시점의 상황과 적용 가능한 방안 등에 대해서 분석해보고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to use a virtual museum platform to expand the cultural and artistic experiences related to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). The DMZ, with its historical, political, military, ecological, and geographical significance, has gained global attention, vividly illustrating the unique geopolitical characteristics of the Korean Peninsula involving peace, confrontation, and coexistence. It is noteworthy that existing cultural and artistic activities in the DMZ often rely on direct participation. However, due to the challenges of accessibility, limited information, and cultural differences over time associated with the DMZ, there are difficulties in expanding cultural and artistic content.Therefore, in this study, we assume that digital platforms such as virtual museums utilizing 3D laser projection mapping or 3D scanning will play a crucial role in addressing these limitations. We aim to analyze the current situation and potential solutions by examining existing cultural and artistic activities within the DMZ, considering the role of these digital platforms in overcoming the identified challenges.
