명리 운명론과 자유의지의 상호작용에 관한 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 운명론이 삶에 미치는 영향을 밝혀서, 미래에 대한 불안 심리로 운명론에 지나치게의존하는 폐단을 막기 위함이다. 운명론에 따르면 태어나는 순간 운명이 결정되므로, 동일사주를 가진사람들은 모두 유사한 삶의 궤적이 나타나야 하지만, 다른 삶의 궤적이 존재한다. 이것은 결정론적 운명관에 한계가 있음을 의미하고, 자유의지를 비롯한 여러 변수들이 존재하고 있음을 의미한다. 따라서본 연구는 명리 운명론 안에서 자유의지의 존재와 범위를 탐구하여 운명론과 자유의지의 상호작용에대한 심층적인 고찰을 제시한다. 이 연구를 수행하기 위해서, 동일사주 중에 삶이 다른 임상자료를 분석하여 가정환경·직업·배우자가 다른 내재적 상황과 선택의 영향을 통해서 운명론과 자유의지 간에 상호작용을 조사하였다. 그 결과 자유의지의 선택이 개인의 능력과 재능을 발전시킬 수 있고, 명리와 자유의지는 서로 상반된 개념이 아니라 오히려 상호보완적으로 작용할 수 있다는 주요 결론을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to illuminate the influence of fatalism on life and prevent the detriment of excessive reliance on fatalism driven by anxieties about the future. According to fatalism, one's destiny is determined at the moment of birth, implying that individuals with identical birth charts should follow similar life trajectories; however, diverse life paths exist. This signifies limitations in deterministic views of fate and the presence of various variables, including free will. Therefore, this study explores the existence and scope of free will within Myeongri fatalism, offering an in-depth examination of the interaction between fatalism and free will. To conduct this research, clinical data of individuals with identical birth charts leading different lives were analyzed to investigate the interplay between fatalism and free will through the influences of diverse internal circumstances and choices in crucial aspects such as family environment, occupation, and spouse selection. The results suggest that choices made through free will can foster the development of individual abilities and talents. Furthermore, the study concludes that Myeongri and free will are not contradictory concepts but can, in fact, mutually complement each other
