국문 초록

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명에 따른 새로운 기술과 건축의 융합에 대해 살펴보고, 주요 기술들과 건축의융합 사례를 통해 건축은 융합에 어떻게 대응해야 하는지에 대한 탐구를 목적으로 한다. 이론적 고찰을통해 4차 산업혁명의 발전 과정, 주요 기술과 건축 그리고 융합의 패러다임에 대해 조사하여 분석 틀을 마련하였다. 4차 산업혁명의 기술 중 건축에 활용되는 대표적인 것들은 인공지능, 로봇공학, 3D 프린팅, 증강현실과 가상현실, 빅 데이터, 사물인터넷으로 정리해 볼 수 있다. 그리고 기술과 건축의 융합측면은 설계적 측면, 시공적 측면, 공간경험적 측면, 지속가능성 측면의 네 가지로 분류할 수 있고, 융합 특성은 창의성, 문제해결, 상호보완성, 다양성, 연결성의 다섯 가지로 분류할 수 있다. 4차 산업혁명에 따른 새로운 기술과 건축의 융합은 그동안 존재하였던 건축의 한계를 뛰어넘고 영역 간 경계를 허물고 있다. 융합은 건축가들이 상상하던 것들을 현실로 가능하게 하고, 건축을 확장된 방식으로 창조할수 있게 한다. 건축가는 보다 능동적으로 기술을 다루며, 기술을 건축의 여러 요소와 통합하여 사고하여야 한다. 새로운 기술과 건축의 융합은 미학적으로나 기술적으로 진보한 건축을 만들 수 있을 것이라본다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the convergence of new technologies and architecture according to the 4th industrial revolution, and to explore how architecture respond to convergence through examples. Through theoretical considerations, the development process of the 4th industrial revolution, major technologies and architecture, and the paradigm of convergence were investigated to prepare an analysis framework. The convergence aspects can be classified into four categories: Design, Construction, Spatial Experience, and Sustainability, and the convergence characteristics can be classified into five categories: Creativity, Problem Solving, Complementarity, Diversity, and Connectivity. The convergence according to the 4th Industrial Revolution is breaking the boundaries between areas and overcoming the limits of architecture. Convergence makes what architects have imagined into reality and allows them to create architecture in an expanded way. Architects should actively deal with technology and think in integration with various elements of architecture. The convergence of new technologies and architecture is expected to create aesthetically and technologically advanced architecture.
