부산지역축제 콘텐츠로서 동해안 별신굿의 활용 가능성

국문 초록

본 연구는 1995년 지방자치제도 도입 이후 축제 진행에 관한 재원과 집행, 진행의 주체이자 주최가 민(民)에서 관(官)으로 변경되면서 발생한 부산 지역축제의 변화지점을 확인하고 이 변화가 오늘날 부산지역축제에 미치는 영향과 한계에 대해서 논의한다. 이어서 본고는 지역주민이 축제의 주체적 참여자에서 수용자로 변화한 관중심 부산 지역축제의 한계에 대한 해결 방안으로 축제 콘텐츠로서 동해안 별신굿의 전승을 제안한다. 부산별신굿은 Lee(2022)가 제시한 성공적인 축제기획을 위한 스토리텔링의 3요소인 지역의 지리적 특성, 지역주민의 유대감, 역사적 자원의 프로그램화에 모두 합당한 축제 소재이다. 또한, 부산별신굿의 축제 콘텐츠화는 단절 위기에 처한 부산별신굿의 전승에도 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study identifies the changes in the Busan regional festival that occurred when the financial resources, execution, and host of the festival were changed from private to government since the introduction of the local autonomy system in 1995, and discusses the impact and limitations of this change on the Busan regional festival today. Subsequently, this paper proposes the transmission of the East Coast Byeolsingut as a festival content as a solution to the limitations of the Busan Regional Festival, where local residents have changed from the main participant of the festival to the audience. Busan Byeolsingut is a festival material suitable for the programming of local geographical characteristics, local residents' bonds, and historical resources, which are all three elements of storytelling for successful festival planning proposed by Lee (2022). In addition, the festival content of Busan Byeolsingut will contribute to the transmission of Busan Byeolsingut, which is on the verge of being cut off.
