국문 초록

디지털 환경 속에 살아온 현대의 학습자에게 매체는 익숙하고 다루기 쉬운 제재로서 기본적인 매체 문식력을 가지고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 전통적인 강독 중심의 문학 교육의 난점을 극복하기 위해 학습자가 지닌 매체 문식력을 활용한 한국 고전시가 감상 능력의 신장을 목표로 두었다. 먼저매체를 이해하고 비판적으로 수용하며 재생산할 수 있는 능력으로 매체 문식력을 정의하였으며 아울러영화와 문학이 텍스트 이해와 감상에 상호연관성이 있음을 살펴보았다. 이를 토대로 영화 <라라랜드> 와 고려가요 <동동>을 중심으로 교수·학습 사례를 제시하였다. 이를 통해 의미 구성 촉진, 심도 있는해석, 감상의 확장 및 상호 매체성을 경유한 텍스트 의미 재생산의 가능성과 이에 나타난 한계점도 함께 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 한국 고전시가 교육에서 매체 문식력을 비계로 삼아 초·중급 학습자에게도교육의 가능성의 전제를 마련하고 고전문학의 감상능력 신장에 도움이 됐다는 데에 일정한 의의를 지닌다.

영문 초록

In the digital environment, modern learners have familiar and easily manageable media literacy skills, which can be seen as a fundamental medium literacy. In this regard, this study aims to overcome the challenges of traditional literature education centered on intensive reading by utilizing learners' media literacy skills to enhance their appreciation of Korean classical poetry. First, media literacy was defined as the ability to understand, critically engage with, and reproduce media. Additionally, the interconnectedness between film and literature in terms of text comprehension and appreciation was examined. Based on this foundation, case studies of teaching and learning were presented focusing on the film “LaLa Land” and the Korean classical song “Dongdong.” Through these case studies, the potential for promoting meaningful construction of meaning, in-depth interpretation, expanded appreciation, and the reproduction of textual meaning through intermedia connectivity were explored, along with the limitations observed. This study provides a premise for incorporating media literacy into the education of Korean classical poetry thereby offering possibilities for education to beginner·intermediate level learners and contributing to the enhancement of appreciation skills in classical poetry.
