어린 아동기 부정적 정서기질이 학령후기 아동의 공동체의식에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 학령후기 아동의 공동체의식에 영향을 미치는 또래애착, 자아존중감과 어린 아동기 부정적정서 기질의 구조적 관계를 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널 13차 년도(2020 년)의 초등학교 6학년 1,397명의 자료를 기반으로 5차 년도(2012년)의 어린 아동기 기질 조사 자료를이용하였다. 자료는 AMOS 26.0을 이용한 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석되었다. 분석 결과, 어린 아동기 부정적 정서 기질은 공동체의식에 유의한 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 또래애착과 자아존중감은 공동체의식에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤을 뿐 아니라, 기질과 공동체의식 간의 관계를 유의하게 매개하는 요인이었다. 따라서 학령후기 아동의 공동체의식의 증진을 위한 전략으로서, 어린 아동기 부정적 정서기질의 장기적 영향이 고려될 필요가 있으며 또래 애착과 자아존중감의 증진을 위한 프로그램이 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to investigate the structural relationship among peer attachment, self-esteem, and early childhood temperament that affect the sense of community of late school-aged children. Data were used that collected from 1,397 children of the 6th grade of elementary school in the 13th year of the Panel Study on Korean Children (2020) and temperament survey data of the 5th year (2012). The data were analyzed by a structural equation model using AMOS 26.0. Negative emotional temperament in early childhood had a significant negative effect on the sense of community. In addition, peer attachment and self-esteem not only had a significant positive effect on the sense of community, but were also significant mediating factors in the relationship between temperament and the sense of community. Therefore, it is necessary to be considered the long-term effects of negative emotional temperament in early childhood, and programs to enhance peer attachment and self-esteem of children for promoting a sense of community in late school-age children.
