국문 초록

이 연구는 현대 음악의 급격한 진화와 다양한 스타일의 융합 속에서 유지되는 흑인 문화유산과 알앤비(R&B) 음악의 경향을 파악하고자 했다. 알앤비 음악의 역사와 스타일에 관해 종합적으로 검토하였으며, 그래미 어워드의 시상 내용을 살펴봄으로써 현대적인 의미에서의 알앤비 음악의 특성을 연구하였다. 알앤비 음악의 스타일은 다양한 시대적 흐름에 따라 변화하며, 현대 음악의 다양성과 창의성을 촉진하는 데 중요한 역할을 했다. 또한, 흑인들의 경험과 문화적 배경은 큰 영감으로 작용하여 과거와 현재를 조화롭게 결합하고 자신들의 문화를 발전시키는 데 기여한다. 이러한 연구가 흑인 문화에 대한 이해를 높이고 학문적 연구뿐만 아니라 음악 산업과 문화 측면에도 유용한 정보로 활용될 수 있기를 바란다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to identify trends in black cultural heritage and R&B music that are maintained in the rapid evolution of modern music and the fusion of various styles. The history and style of R&B music was comprehensively reviewed, and the characteristics of R&B music in a modern sense were studied by examining the history of the Grammy Awards. The style of R&B music changes according to various trends of the times, and has played an important role in promoting the diversity and creativity of contemporary music. In addition, the experiences and cultural backgrounds of black people act as a great inspiration, harmoniously combining the past and the present and contributing to the development of their culture. It is hoped that this study will increase understanding of black culture and be used as useful information not only for academic research but also for the music industry and culture.
