국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학 인성교육을 대표하는 5개 주요 대학의 인성 관련 교육과정 및 비교과 프로그램 동향을 제시하였다. 이 대학들은 인성교육대상, 나눔국민대상 등을 수상한 바 있으며 내실 있는 인성교육으로 잘 알려져 있다. 본 연구의 진행을 위해 대학 인성교육 관련 선행연구를 탐색하였고 해당 대학의교육과정, 규정집, 홈페이지 등을 중심으로 각종 자료를 수집, 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 대학별 인성교육은 학교 차원의 지원 하에 관련 부서와 전문 인력을 토대로 학교별 이념과 목표를 반영하는 인성교육교과 및 비교과를 다양하게 개설, 운영하고 있었다. 이를 통해 인성교육을 강조하고 있는 학교들의 주요 특징 및 특화된 사항을 확인하였다. 연구 결과를 기반으로 논의 및 결론, 향후 연구에 대한 제언을도출하였다. 본 연구를 통해 대학 인성교육을 선도하는 주요 대학의 동향을 종합적으로 파악하여 현실적이고 효과적인 대학 인성교육의 방안을 모색할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

In this study, the trends of character education related curriculum and non-curricular programs of five major universities representing university character education were presented. These universities have won the Grand Prize for Character Education and the National Grand Prize for Sharing, and are well-known for their substantial character education. For the progress of this study, previous studies related to university character education were explored, and various data were collected and analyzed focusing on the university’s curriculum, rulebook, and website. As a result of the study, character education for each university was opened and operated in various ways, including character education subjects and non-curricular programs that reflect the ideology and goals of each university based on the relevant departments and professional manpower under the support of the university level. Through this, the main characteristics and specializations of universities that emphasize character education were confirmed. Based on the research results, discussions, conclusions, and suggestions for future research were drawn. Through this study, it will be possible to comprehensively grasp the trends of major universities leading university character education and to seek realistic and effective university character education methods.
