한국어적 사고로 바라본 중국어의 언어구조 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중국어 ‘활동동사(activity verbs)’의 의미 기능과 문법 구조 사이의 결합 관계를 상의범주(category of aspect) 안에서 살펴보고, 이로써 한국어의 문법 구조로 이해하기 어려웠던 중국어활동동사 구문의 문법 구조 일부를 동사의 상적 특성(aspectual character)으로 설명하려는 시도이다. 이 논문은 언어구조 표면에 드러나지 않지만 서로 관련이 없어 보이는 동사 어휘가 동일한 구조로 쓰이고, 서로 관련 있어 보이는 동사 어휘가 다른 구조로 쓰이는 것은 동사 어휘가 내재적으로 공유하고있는 자질(資質)이 작용하고 있음을 보여준다. 따라서 ‘동사가 지닌 상적인 특성’에 주목하여 중국어 활동동사의 결합 제약이나 의미 변화를 고찰한다면 한국어 화자가 중국어 문법 구조에서 직면하는 의문점을 해소할 수 있다. 또한 활동동사의 상적특성으로 인해 일부 문법 현상이 항상 두 가지 이상의 의미를 지니는 것으로 기술되는 것의 근거를 설명할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the connection between the semantic function and grammatical structure of the Chinese word “activity verb” in the category above. This is an attempt to explain the Chinese active verb syntax, which was difficult to understand due to the grammatical structure of the Korean language, with the commercial characteristics of the verb. Therefore, words that do not match the Chinese language structure are not searched. This paper shows that the qualities inherently shared by verbs in language structure are at work. In line with this, it is suggested that Korean speakers can solve the questions faced by the Chinese grammar structure by looking at the commercial characteristics of verbs and considering the constraints and semantic changes of Chinese active verbs. Furthermore, it is possible to explain why some grammatical phenomena are always described as having two or more meanings depending on the commercial characteristics of the active verb.
