중년부부의 갈등과 친밀감에 있어서 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 중년기 부부의 부부갈등이 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략을 매개로 부부친밀감에 영향을 미치는과정에서 배우자 간의 자기효과와 상대방효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 185쌍의 중년기 부부가 참여하였고 자기-상대방 상호의존모형을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 아내부부갈등과 아내부부친밀감과의 관계에서는 아내의 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략이, 남편부부갈등과 남편부부친밀감과의 관계에서는남편의 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략이 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 상대방효과는 아내의 부부갈등과 남편의 부부친밀감과의 관계에서 아내의 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략이 완전 매개하였고, 남편의 부부갈등과 아내의 부부친밀감의 관계에서 남편의 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략이 완전 매개하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 중년부부의 친밀감 향상을 위한 유용한 자료로 제공될 것이며, 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략에 근거한 교육과 상담을 통한 부부 친밀감 증진의 개입 방향을 설정하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the actor and the partner effects on the process of which marital conflict affected marital intimacy through cognitive emotion regulation strategy among middle-aged married couples. For this purpose, path analysis was conducted using the APIM for the collected data from 185 pairs middle-aged married couples. The results of this study were summarized as follows: First, the wife’s cognitive emotion regulation strategy had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between wife’s marital conflict and marital intimacy, and the husband’s cognitive emotion regulation strategy had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between husband‘s marital conflict and marital intimacy. Second, In the partner effect, the wife's cognitive emotion regulation strategy was completely mediated in the relationship between the wife's marital conflict and the husband's marital intimacy, and the husband's cognitive emotion regulation strategy was completely mediated in the relationship between the husband's marital conflict and the wife's marital intimacy. The results of this study will be provided as useful data for improving the intimacy of middle-aged married couples and helpful in setting the direction of intervention for improving marital intimacy through education and counseling based on adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategy.
