청소년 기관에 소속되지 않은 학교 밖 청소년의 진로 선택 경험에 관한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년 기관에 소속되지 않은 학교 밖 청소년의 진로 선택 경험에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. K시에 거주하는 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 학업을 중단하고, 그 이후 청소년 관련 기관에 소속되지않는 4명의 청소년을 선정하였고, 학업 중단 전, 학업 중단 후의 변화와 그 후 진로 선택 경험을 토대로 각각 심층 면담을 진행하였다. Giorgi의 현상학적 방법 절차에 따라 분석하였고, 그 결과 ‘알 수 없지만 스스로 선택한 나의 길’, ‘자신이 처한 처지를 인식하고 진로 의지를 다짐함’, ‘계획된 학업 중단’, ‘막연하지만 스스로 선택한 진로를 위한 첫걸음’이라는 4개의 본질적 주제와 12개의 중심 주제가 도출되었다. 학업 중단 전후의 경험에 대한 깊은 이야기와 학교 밖 환경에서 맞이하는 진로 선택의 경험에관한 연구는 학교 밖 청소년들이 부딪혀야 하는 현실적 진로에 대한 경험을 나눔으로 학교 밖 청소년에게 더 효과적인 지원과 도움을 주기 위함이며 청소년 관련 기관에 소속되지 않은 청소년들에 대한자료가 충분치 않아 이들에 대한 기초자료를 마련하는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the career choice experience of out-of-school adolescents who are not affiliated with the institution.,The study was conducted for out-of-school youths living in K city, and four youths who were not affiliated with youth-related organizations were selected.,In-depth interviews were conducted based on changes before and after school interruption and career choice experience., Giorgi's phenomenological method was analyzed according to the procedure, and as a result, four essential themes and 12 central themes were derived, saying that my life, which I have to take responsibility for myself, can start and do, and that two years of empty time is nothing.,The study on the deep story about the experience before and after the school interruption and the experience of career choice in the out-of-school environment is meaningful in that it gives more effective support and help to out-of-school youths by sharing the experience of realistic career that out-of-school youths should face and it is not enough data about youths who are not affiliated with youth-related organizations.
