페스탈로치의 교육사상에 기반한 사회복지실천의 요소와 원리 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 사회복지실천의 기본 요소이자 원리에 대한 이론적 개념들을 근대교육학의 아버지라 불리는 페스탈로치의 교육사상에 접목하여 사회복지실천에 대한 사상적 기초를 다지고, 사회복지적 인식과 사고의 확장을 통한 사회복지교육의 함의 도출을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해서 사회복지실천의 지식, 가치, 기술이라는 기초적 이론의 세 가지 요소와 ‘환경 속의 인간’ 원리를 우선 고찰한 후, 페스탈로치의 교육사상을 이루는 시대적 배경과 그의 교육원리 및 실천적 접근방법 등의 내용들을 탐색하였다. 이를 바탕으로 사회복지실천의 요소 및 원리와 페스탈로치의 사상과 이론들을 접목하여 새롭게 고찰함으로써 더욱 심도 있는 사회복지실천의 사상적 근거를 확보하고 정체성 재인식을 시도하였다. 그 결과, 페스탈로치의 교육적 사상과 요소들은 오늘날 휴먼서비스를 목적으로 하는 사회복지실천의 정체성과 역할 및 기능화에 의미 있는 시사점들을 던지고 있으며, 특히 인간학적 측면에서의 ‘전인적 인간’으로서의 균형 발달과 사회적 기여 등에 이르기까지 많은 의미를 확인함으로써 사회복지와 교육학적 인간상의 공통된 지향점을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to establish the ideological basis for social work practice by combining theoretical concepts of social work practice and principles with the educational idea of ​​Pestalozzi, the father of modern pedagogy, and to derive the implications of social welfare education through expansion of social welfare awareness and thinking. For this, three basic elements of knowledge, value, and technology of social work practice and the principle of person in the environment were first considered, and then the background of the times that form the educational idea of ​​Pestalozzi, his educational principles and practical approaches were explored. Based on this, this study attempted to secure the ideological basis of more in-depth social work practice and to re-recognize identity by newly considering the elements and principles of social work practice and the ideas and theories of Pestalozzi. As a result, the educational ideas and elements of Pestalozzi cast meaningful implications for the identity, role and functionalization of social work practice aimed at human service today, and confirmed the common orientation of social welfare and educational human image by confirming many meanings, especially from the anthropological aspect to the balanced development as a whole person and social contribution.
