경제활동 여부에 따른 노인 우울의 영향 요인

국문 초록

본 연구목적은 경제활동 여부에 따른 한국 노인의 우울에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하여 우울을 감소시키기 위한 프로그램 시 그 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 본 연구는 국민건강영양조사 제 6-7기 2013-2017년 자료를 이차 분석한 연구로 본 연구대상은 경제활동 여부에 답한 65세 이상 노인 6,826명이다. 연구방법 중 자료 분석은 SPSS 25.0 프로그램의 x2-test, t-test, logistic regression을 이용하였다. 본 연구결과 경제활동을 하는 노인의 우울에 영향을 준 요인은 가구원 수, 한 번에 마시는 음주량, 자살생각이었고 이들의 설명력은 24.4%이었다(p<.001). 경제활동을 안 하는 노인의 우울에 영향을 준 요인은 가구원 수, 개인소득, 교육수준, 한 번에 마시는 음주량, 스트레스, 주관적 건강과 자살생각으로 나타났고 이들의 설명력은 34.5%이었다(p<.001). 본 연구결과 경제활동여부에 따라 노인의 우울에 영향을 주는 요인에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 우울 감소 프로그램 적용 시 이러한 부분을 반영할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing depression of Korean elderly according to economic activities and to provide basic data for the program to reduce depression. This study is a secondary analysis of the 2013-2017 data of the 6-7th National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, and it included 6,826 elderly people over 65 years old who answered economic activities. Data were analyzed using x2-test, t-test and regression of SPSS 25.0 program. According to the results of this study, the factors affecting the depression of the economically active elderly were the number of household members, the amount of alcohol consumed at one time, and suicidal thoughts and 24.4% of the explanatory power(p <.001). The factors affecting the depression of the elderly who were not economically active were the number of household, personal income, education level, the amount of alcohol consumed at one time, stress, subjective health and suicide ideation, and their explanatory power was 34.5%(p <.001). Therefore, it is necessary to reflect the economic activity of the depression program for the elderly.
