간호사의 공감능력과 간호업무성과와의 관계에서 감성지능의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호사의 공감 능력과 간호업무성과 사이의 감성 지능의 매개효과를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료는 2018년 12월 5일부터 2018년 12월 20일까지 P시에 위치한 일 종합병원에 재직 중인 간호사 213명을 대상으로 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson’s correlation coefficient, multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 공감 능력은 5점 만점에 평균 3.50점 이었으며, 간호업무성과는 평균 5점 만점에 3.66점, 감성 지능은 평균 5점 만점에 3.45점이었다. 대상자의 공감 능력은 간호업무성과(r=.708, p<.001), 감성 지능과(r=.601, p<.001) 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었고. 대상자의 간호업무성과와 감성 지능 사이에도 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다(r=.523, p<.001). 대상자의 감성 지능은 공감 능력과 간호업무성과 사이에서 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 결과들을 바탕으로 간호사의 간호업무성과를 향상시키기 위해 공감 능력과 감성 지능 수준을 향상시킬 수 있는 관리방안의 모색이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study is a descriptive study to identify the mediation effect of emotional intelligence between empathic ability and nursing performance. The study was conducted on 213 nurses who are working in a general hospital in P city, between December 5th to 20th 2018. Data was analyzed by an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson’s correlation coefficient, multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. The mean score of empathic ability was 3.50, nursing performance was 3.66, and emotional intelligence was 3.45 out of 5. There were positive correlations between empathic ability and nursing performance (r=.708, p<.001), and emotional intelligence (r=.601, p<.001), as well as between nursing and emotional intelligence (r=.523, p<.001). The study showed that emotional intelligence mediated partly between empathic ability and nursing performance. Based on these findings, searching for methods that increase the level of empathic ability and emotional intelligence is necessary for nurses in order to increase the level of nursing performance.
