국문 초록

이 연구는 G. Lind의 도덕판단역량측정도구와 그 C-지수가 가진 몇 가지 한계점에 대한 대안을 제시하는 것을 주된 목적으로 한다. MCT 질문지는 2개의 도덕적 딜레마(노동자의 딜레마, 의사의 딜레마)를 동원하는데 각기 사회정의, 생명윤리를 주제로 하고 있다. 이로 인해 내용타당도의 문제점을 안고 있다. 또한 알고리즘 상에 있어서도 낮은 지향과 높은 지향의 주어진 범위 밖으로 할 수 없는 제한점과 중도지향의 가중치를 부여할 수 없는 단점을 안고 있다. 이에 이 연구는 이러한 MCT 질문지와 그 알고리즘 상의 한계점을 검토하고 이를 극복할 수 있는 대안을 제시했다. 우선 질문지는 딜레마스토리 없이 일상적인 주제로 전환했다. 아래와 위로 더 많은 가중치를 부여할 수 있는 통로를 제공했다. 알고리즘 상으로는 가중치 부여가 제한되는 중간의 “0”을 제거하고 –3.5~3.5의 1점 등간성을 가진 8점 척도를 제안했다. 이 새로운 한국형 도덕판단역량측정도구는 향후 효과적인 학생들의 도덕판단력 측정도구로 기여할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to suggest alternatives to some of the limitations of G. Lind s Moral Competence Test(MCT) and its C-index. The MCT Questionnaire mobilizes two moral dilemmas (worker s dilemma, doctor s dilemma), each with the theme of social justice and bioethics. The two stories based measuring tool has some problems of so-called content validity that cannot be connected to the subject when they are different from the subject of the subject. In addition, the algorithm has limitations that cannot be outside of a given range of low and high orientations, and has a disadvantage in that weights of intermediate orientations cannot be assigned. Therefore, this study examined the limitations of this MCT questionnaire and its algorithm and suggested an alternative to overcome it. First, the questionnaire allowed Kohlberg s six steps to be implemented in everyday topics without a dilemma, and provided a way to weight more to down and up direction. Next, this proposed an eight-point scale with a one-point equivalence between –3.5 ~ 3.5, without “0” point limited by weighting. This new type of Korean MCT KC-index is expected to be a very effective tool for the simple measurement of students morality in near future for moral education.
