필리핀 세부 거주 여성의 신체만족도와 외모관리행동 요인 간의 차이

국문 초록

본 연구는 필리핀 세부거주 10∼20대 여성의 신체만족도와 외모관리행동 요인 그리고 신체만족도에 따른 외모관리행동 차이를 알아보기 위해 2015년 01월 05일부터 50일간 필리핀 세부지역의 10∼20대 여성을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 설문지는 총 600부를 배부하여 561부를 회수하였으며, 그 중 불성실하게 응답한 49부를 제외한 512부를 최종 분석 자료로 사용하였다. 분석방업은 SPSS 23.0 for Windows 프로그램을 사용하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 신체만족도를 분석한 결과, 대체로 만족도가 높게 나타났으나 몸무게와 키에 대한 만족도는 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 외모관리행동 요인을 분석한 결과, 헤어관리행동 (멋내기 헤어행동, 외출시 헤어관리행동, 헤어케어행동), 피부관리행동( 피부관리실 방문행동, 피부건강 관리행동, 클린징행동, 세안행동), 기초화장행동, 색조화장행동, 미용성형행동, 네일관리행동 (네일숍 이용행동, 네일관리 관심행동, 핸드관리행동)요인으로 나타났다. 신체 만족도별 외모관리행동요인 차이는 신체만족도가 높은 집단이 외모관리행동을 많이 하는 것으로 나타났는데 몸무게에 대한 만족도에서는 만족도가 낮은 집단이 외모관리행동을 더 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study conducted a survey targeting women in their 10s to 20s, in Cebu, Philippines, from 5 January 2015 for 50 days, to analyze the appearance management behavior of women living in Cebu, Philippines. For this, this researcher visited the place in person, handed out 600 copies of the questionnaire, and collected 561; of the collected copies, 512 were used as the final analytical data, except for 49, the unfaithful responses. The SPSS 23.0 for Windows program was used as the analytical method. The analysis results are as follows. As a result of analyzing the body satisfaction, satisfaction was generally high, but satisfaction with weight and height was relatively low. According to the analysis of appearance management behavior factors, hair care behaviors (fashion hair behaviors, hair care behaviors when going out, hair care behaviors), skin care behaviors (skin care visits, skin health care behaviors, cleansing behaviors, facial cleansing behaviors), Basic cosmetics, color cosmetics, cosmetic surgery, nail care (nail shop use, nail care interest, hand care). The difference in appearance management behavior factors by physical satisfaction showed that the group with high body satisfaction showed more appearance management behavior, and the group with less satisfaction showed more appearance management behavior in terms of weight satisfaction.
