국문 초록

우리나라의 노인인구는 지속적으로 증가하여 2025년에는 20%를 넘어 초고령 사회에 진입할 것으로 예상된다. 더욱이 1인가구 노인의 수도 증가하는 추세로 사회관계의 단절로 사회참여를 높이기 위한 대처가 필요하다. 그러나 혼자사는 노인에게 개별화된 서비스 제공이 필요한데, 이는 인간이 느끼는 생활만족감은 자기 자신을 어떻게 생각하는지에 따라 달라지기 때문이다. 이런 이유로 본 연구는 혼자사는 노인의 자아정체감이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 노인의 사회참여가 어떤 매개효과를 가지는지 검증하였다. 연구결과 노인의 자아정체감은 생활만족도에 영향을 주는 요인으로 나타났으며, 혼자사는 노인의 사회참여가 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고, 독립변인인 자아정체감과 매개변인인 사회참여는 모두 종속변인인 생활만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과는 혼자사는 노인의 자아정체감이 높을수록 생활만족도도 높아지는데, 이때 사회참여 개인적, 사회참여 사회적 유형이 생활만족도를 높이는데 매개역할을 한다는 것이 확인되어 노인의 사회참여를 지원하는 실천적, 정책적 대처는 반드시 필요함을 보여주고 있다.

영문 초록

The elderly population in Korea is expected to continuously increase, and by 2025, it is expected to enter the ultra-old society by over 20%. Moreover, as the number of elderly single-person households is on the rise, it is necessary to take measures to increase social participation due to disconnection of social relations. However, living alone requires the provision of personalized services for the elderly, because the satisfaction of life that humans feel depends on how they think of themselves. For this reason, this study examined the effects of self-identity of elderly people on life satisfaction and examined the mediating effect of social participation of the elderly. The results showed that the self-identity of the elderly was a factor influencing the life satisfaction, and the social participation of the elderly alone influenced the life satisfaction. It was analyzed that it had a significant effect on life satisfaction. These findings suggest that the higher the self-identity of the elderly living alone, the higher the life satisfaction. At this time, the social type of individual and social participation was found to play a mediating role in enhancing the life satisfaction. Coping has been shown to be necessary.
