국문 초록

말더듬을 유발시키는 요인 중에서도 말더듬이 점차 진전됨에 따라 심리적인 요인에 많은 영향을 받게 된다. 말더듬화자의 심리적 요인과 관련된 연구들의 특성을 살펴본 결과는 다음으로 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 말더듬화자에게 스트레스나 부담이 되는 대화 상황이 말더듬에 부정적인 영향을 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 심리적인 불안감이 가중됨에 따라 말더듬이 악화되는 것을 나타낸다. 둘째, 말더듬을 심화시키는 심리적인 요인을 감소시키거나 제거하는 것이 말더듬 치료에 효과적이다. 말더듬과 심리적 요인은 밀접하게 관련되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 다만, 심리적 불안에 의해 말더듬이 유발되는지, 말더듬 때문에 심리적 불안이 가중되는 것인지에 대해서는 알 수 없지만 불안을 제거하면 말더듬이 약화되었으며 심리적인 불안 등을 완화시키는 방법으로 말더듬 치료를 도울 수도 있었다. 끝으로, 말더듬화자에게 심리적인 요인들은 중요한 부분으로 잘 조절해서 심리적으로 편안함을 느끼게 될 때, 말더듬 치료에 있어 긍정적인 효과를 보일 것이다.

영문 초록

Among the factors that cause stuttering, the gradual progress of stuttering affects many psychological factors. The characteristics of the studies related to the psychological factors of the stuttering speaker can be summarized as follows. First, we could see that a conversation situation that was stressful or burdensome for a stuttering person had a negative effect on stuttering. This indicates a worsening of stuttering as psychological anxiety increases. Second, reducing or eliminating psychological factors that deepen stuttering is effective in treating stuttering. Stuttering and psychological factors could be closely related. However, it is not known if the stutter is caused by psychological anxiety or if the stutter is aggravated, but if the anxiety is removed, the stuttering is weakened and the stuttering treatment could be helped by alleviating psychological anxiety. Finally, for a stuttering speaker, psychological factors will have a positive effect in treating stuttering when they are well adjusted to an important part and become psychologically comfortable.
