다문화관련 연구 동향분석: 특수교육분야 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 특수교육분야를 중심으로 다문화관련 연구를 분석하고자 한다. 기존의 다문화관련 연구동향들이 읽기 또는 언어와 관련된 연구, 특수교육 관련 학술지로만 이루어진 연구, 특수교육대상자를 중심으로 선정된 다문화 장애학생의 연구 등 제한적인 범위에서 연구가 되었다. 관련된 연구들을 분석하여 특수교육에서 나타나는 전반적인 경향을 파악하고 내용을 분석하여 향 후 진행되어야 할 연구와 앞으로의 방향성을 탐색하고자 한다. 본 연구는 다문화와 장애와 관련된 키워드를 조합하여 논문 데이터베이스에 검색을 하여 연구자의 검토를 하여 총 50편의 분석논문을 선정하였다. 특수교육에서 다문화관련 연구들의 특성들을 다음과 같이 보여주고 있다. 첫째, 특수교육전문학술지가 33편, 비특수교육학술지가 17편으로 나타났다. 둘째, 실험연구 6편, 조사연구 19편, 질적연구 15편, 문헌연구 10편으로 나타났다. 셋째, 다문화가정 아동에 대한 연구가 12편, 부모와 교사를 대상으로 한 연구가 28편으로 나타났다. 넷째, 주제별에서 발달 및 특성연구가 12편, 양육과 교육 8편, 다문화인식 및 교육 13편, 교육적 모델 6편, 평가 2편, 연구종합이 3편으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 특수교육전문학술지 뿐만 아니라 다문화전문 학술지를 포함한 다양한 학술지로 넓혀야 하며, 연구방법에서 실험연구가 더 많이 이루어져 증거기반형태의 연구가 축적이 되어야 하며, 다문화가정 장애아동의 한국인 부모에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze multicultural research in the field of special education. The trends of multicultural studies were limited in terms of reading or language related studies, studies published only in special education journals, and studies of students with disabilities in multicultural families. By analyzing related studies, the general trends in special education are identified, and the contents are analyzed to explore future research and directions. In this study, a total of 50 studies were selected by researching database as combining keyword related to multicultural and disability. First, there were 33 special education journals and 17 non-special education journals. Second, 6 experimental studies, 19 survey studies, 15 qualitative studies and 10 literature studies. Third, there were 12 studies on children of multicultural families and 28 studies on parents and teachers. Fourth, there were 12 studies for developmental and characteristic studies by subject, 8 studies for parenting and education, 13 studies for multicultural awareness and education, 6 studies for educational models, 2 studies for evaluations, and 3 studies for research synthesis. It is necessary to broaden various journals, including multicultural journals, as well as special education journals. There are more experimental studies in the research method, evidence-based studies should be accumulated, and research on Korean parent of child with disabilities in multicultural families is required.
