국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 결핵환자를 간호한 간호사의 경험을 알아보기 위함이다. 본 연구의 참여자는 S시, I시, J시, E시, W군 등에 근무하고 있는 간호사로 의료기관에서 3개월 이상 결핵환자를 간호했던 경험이 있으며 연구에 참여할 의사가 있는 간호사를 선정하였다. 본 연구의 참여자는 총 10명이었으며 자료수집은 심층적 면담으로 모든 내용은 녹음 후 필사되었으며, 수집된 자료는 Colaizzi(1978)의 분석법을 사용하였다. 연구결과 총 4개의 범주와 17개의 하위범주가 도출되었고 4개 범주는 ‘체계적인 조직 및 시설 지원 필요함’, ‘감염에 대한 두려움’, ‘철저한 감염관리의 어려움’, ‘환자를 위한 사명감’으로 구성되었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 간호사의 감염관리를 위한 안전하고 편리한 보호 장비와 시설이 요구된다. 또한 결핵과 동반된 다른 질환자를 위한 간호업무의 표준화된 매뉴얼 개발이 필요하며, 결핵환자를 간호하는 간호사의 소진 예방을 위한 중재프로그램이 필요하다고 본다. 본 연구는 결핵 환자를 돌본 간호사의 경험을 탐색하고자 심층면담을 실시하여 질적 연구를 수행한 것에 학문적 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study was designed to describe the experience of nurses who have treated tuberculosis patients. Participants in this study were nurses working in S, I, J, E and W who had more than three months of experience in nursing tuberculosis patients at medical institutions and were willing to participate in the research. A total of 10 participants were conducted through in-depth interviews. All interviews were recorded by a portable tape recorder and written. Analysis method used Colaizzi’s(1978). Results of the study showed 4 categories and 17 subcategories. The need for systematic organization and facility support, Fear of infection, Difficulty managing thorough infection control, Commitment to patients. Based on the results of this study, safe and convenient protective equipment and facilities for infection control of nurses are required. It is also necessary to develop a standardized manual for nursing work for the sick with tuberculosis, and an arbitration program is needed to prevent the exhaustion of nurses who care for tuberculosis patients. This study is of academic significance to conducting qualitative research by conducting in-depth interviews to explore the nurse s experience of caring for tuberculosis patients.
