애착과 편집성 성격성향의 관계에서 자기자비와 수치심의 조절된 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 애착과 수치심과 같은 변인이 편집성 성격의 발달에 미치는 영향 및 자기자비의 역할을 검증함으로써 편집성 성격성향을 가진 사람들의 치료 및 적응에 도움을 줄 수 있는 개입방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이에 더해, 편집성 성격성향자들의 경우 기분 증상을 경험할 수 있기 때문에 우울 증상의 수준에 따라 집단을 구분하여 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 대학생 468명을 대상으로 개정판 성인용 친밀관계 애착척도(ECR-R), 내면화된 수치심 척도(ISS), 성격장애 진단검사, 한국판 자기자비 척도(K-SCS), 한국판 Zung 우울 척도를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 높은 우울집단과 낮은 우울집단 모두에서 불안정 애착(불안애착, 회피애착)과 편집성 성격성향의 관계에서 수치심의 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 둘째, 낮은 우울집단에서 불안애착과 자기자비의 하위유형인 보편적 인간성이 상호작용하여 수치심에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 낮은 우울집단에서 불안애착이 수치심을 통해 편집성 성격성향에 미치는 영향을 보편적 인간성이 감소시키는 조절된 매개효과가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 편집성 성격성향자들에 대한 치료적 개입에 있어 애착 유형뿐만 아니라 내면화된 수치심에 대해 다룰 필요가 있음을 시사하며, 자기자비 함양이 수치심을 감소시키는 보호요인으로 기능할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 또한 우울과 같은 기분 증상을 먼저 점검해보는 것이 치료적 접근에 있어 보다 유용할 수 있겠다.

영문 초록

This study was intended to explore ways of intervening to help treatment and adapt people with paranoid personality traits by verifying the influence of variables such as attachment and shame on the development of paranoid personality and the role of self-compassion. In addition, groups of paranoid personality traits were examined according to the level of depression symptoms because they could experience mood symptoms. For that purpose, the data was analyzed by measuring Encounter in Close Relationship Scale-Revised(ECR-R), Internalized Shame Scale(ISS), Korean Personality Disorders Test, Korean version of Self-Compassion Scale(K-SCS), Zung Self Rating depression sacle 0f 468 college students. The results are as follows: First, shame had partial mediation effects in the pathway from insecure attachment(anxiety attachment, avoidant attachment) to paranoid personality traits in both group. Second, common humanity had moderation effects in the pathway from anxiety attachment to shame. Third, common humanity had mediated moderation effects through shame in the relationship between anxiety attachment and paranoid personality traits. These results suggest the need to address internalized shame as well as attachment types in therapeutic interventions of paranoid personalities, and it seems that fostering self-compassion can serve as a protective factor to reduce shame. Also, checking for mood symptoms such as depression may be more useful in a therapeutic approach.
