국문 초록

본 연구는 현대사회의 소통의 장소로서의 공공공간의 본래의 가치를 구현할 수 있는 건축계획의 대안을 제안하고자 하는 연구로서 과정적 공간으로서의 전이공간에 주목하였다. 본 연구는 공공성의 의미와 전이공간에 내재되어있는 공공성의 가능성을 고찰하는 것으로 시작하여 전이공간의 건축적 의미를 파악하였고 전이공간에서의 공공성을 실현할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 전이공간의 각 요소에 적용가능한 공공성의 개념을 건축계획요소로 구체화하여 이를 계획안에 적용, 새로운 대안으로서의 공공공간 계획안을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 계획안의 내용은 다음과 같이 정리된다. 첫째, 전이공간의 공공공간으로서의 가치를 계단, 통로, 그리고 테라스라는 건축계획요소를 통하여 구현할 것을 제안한다. 둘째, 계단, 통로, 그리고 테라스의 물리적 환경 즉, 위치, 형태, 넓이, 높이, 그리고 구성요소 등의 변화를 통하여 전이공간이 공공공간의 본질인 사람들이 경험하고 체험할 수 있는 장소의 속성을 갖도록 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to propose an alternative of architectural plan that can realize the original value of public space as a community space in modern society. This study paid attention to transition space. This study begins by considering the meaning of publicity and the possibility of publicity inherent in transition space and grasped the architectural meaning of transition space and proposed a method to realize publicity in transition space. Also, the concept of publicity applicable to each element of transition space was embodied as architectural planning elements and proposed the public space plan as a new alternative. The contents of the proposal proposed in this study are summarized as follows. First, it is proposed to realize the value that transition space can have as public space through architectural planning elements such as stairs, passages and terraces. Second, by the change in the physical environment of stairs, passages, and terraces, such as location, shape, width, height, and components, ensure that transition space has the property of a place to experience.
