치매환자의 우울과 생활만족에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 치매환자를 대상으로 요양시설 입소 적응력 향상을 위하여 시설 입소적응 프로그램에 참여한 이후 우울과 사회적 관계, 생활만족에 어떠한 변화가 있었는지를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 J도에 위치한 H노인요양원에 입소한 치매환자를 대상으로 우울 및 생활만족도의 변화정도를 파악하였다. 자료 분석방법은 프로그램 시행 전후의 차이를 파악하기 위해 비모수 통계방법인 Wilcoxon 대응짝 부호검정 분석을 실시하였다. 검증 결과, 입소적응 프로그램이 치매환자의 우울을 감소시키는데 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 치매환자의 사회적 관계를 향상시키는데 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 입소적응 프로그램이 치매환자의 생활 만족도를 높이는데 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 입소적응 프로그램에 참여한 치매환자들은 프로그램 만족도가 매우 높게 나타났다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 치매환자들이 요양시설 입소 이후 적응력을 키워주고, 생활 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 체계적인 요양시설 입소 적응프로그램을 운영할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in depression, social relations, and life satisfaction after participating in the facility adaptation program to improve the adaptability of nursing homes for dementia patients. The purpose of this study was to investigate the degree of depression and life satisfaction of dementia patients who were admitted to H elderly nursing home in J. The data analysis method used Wilcoxon-coordinated pair test, a nonparametric statistical method, to identify the differences before and after the implementation of the program. As a result of the test, it was found that the admission program had a statistically significant effect on reducing the depression of dementia patients and a statistically significant effect on improving the social relationship of the dementia patients. In addition, the admission program had a statistically significant effect on improving the life satisfaction of dementia patients, and the satisfaction of the dementia patients who participated in the admission program was very high. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be seen that there is a need to operate a systematic nursing facility adaptation program to improve adaptation and improve life satisfaction of dementia patients.
