행복과 공감이 희망과 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 행복과 공감이 희망과 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 행복한 사람과 공감을 잘하는 사람들은 생활의 많은 부분에서 그렇지 않는 사람들과 차이가 있을 것이라는 가정 하에 행복과 공감이 희망과 만족에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 먼저, 행복, 공감, 희망, 및 삶의 만족을 포함한 질문지를 구성하여 10대부터 60대까지 남녀를 포함하여 대전/세종/충남에 거주하는 510명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS24를 이용하여 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 알아보았고, 행복과 공감에 따른 희망과 삶의 만족의 차이를 이원분산분석을 통하여 검토하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 첫째, 적용된 척도의 신뢰도가 우수하고 다탕도도 우수하였다. 둘째, 행복한 사람이 행복하지 않은 사람보다 더 희망적이었다. 셋째, 공감을 잘하는 사람이 공감을 잘하지 않는 사람보다 더 희망적이었다. 넷째, 상호작용에 있어서 희망에 대한 행복과 공감의 효과는 없었다. 다섯째, 행복한 사람이 그렇지 않은 사람보다 삶에 더 만족하였다. 여섯째, 공감을 잘하는 사람이 그렇지 않은 사람보다 삶에 더 만족하였다. 끝으로, 삶의 만족에 대한 행복과 공감의 상호작용효과는 없었다. 이런 연구결과는 행복과 공감이 사람들에게 희망을 갖게 만들고 삶에 만족하게 만드는 중요한 심리적 구성개념임을 보여주는 것이다. 마지막으로, 연구의 제한점과 후속 연구방향성을 논하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of happiness and empathy on hope and life satisfaction. We suggest research model that both happiness and empathy make people more hopeful and satisfactory. Data were collected 510 people from 10 to 60 residents in Daejeon/Sejong/Chungnam province with the questionnaire including happiness, empathy, hope, and life satisfaction. Reliability and validity of scales were analyzed and were tested differences of hope and life satisfaction according to happiness and empathy using SPSS24. The results of this study are as follows: First, there were good in reliability and validity of scales used. Second, those who are happy show at a higher level of hope than those who are unhappy. Third, those who are more empathic show at a high level of hope than those who are less empathic. Fourth, interaction effect of happiness and empathy to hope is not. Fifth, those who are happy show at a higher level of life satisfaction than those who are unhappy. Sixth, those who are more empathic show at a high level of life satisfaction than those who are less empathic. Lastly, interaction effect of happiness and empathy to life satisfaction is not. This findings show to make happier and to be more empathic are effective solution to raise hope and life satisfaction. Finally, the limitations and future directions of the study were discussed.
