영화를 활용한 치매교육의 효과 -간호대학생의 치매지식과 태도를 중심으로-

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 영화를 활용한 치매교육의 효과를 확인하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 유사 실험연구이다. 간호대학생 81명 중 실험군은 39명, 대조군은 42명이었다. 4주 동안 실험군에게는 영화를 활용한 치매교육이 제공되었고 대조군에게는 전통적 강의 수업을 제공하였다. 자료 수집은 2017년 8월부터 2017년 9월까지 이루어졌다. 통계 분석 결과, 실험군과 대조군의 치매에 대한 지식과 태도는 사전 검사에서 차이가 없었지만 사후 검사에서 치매에 대한 지식에 차이가 있었다(t=2.57, p=.012). 반면에 치매에 대한 태도에는 차이가 나타나지 않았다(t=0,537, p=.598). 본 연구의 결과는 영화를 이용한 치매 교육이 전통적인 강의 방법에 비해 간호 대학생들이 치매에 대한 지식을 향상시키는 데 도움이 된다는 것을 보여주었다. 본 연구의 결과는 미래에 치매간호를 담당하게 될 간호대학생의 치매교육을 위해 다양한 치매관련 영화를 활용한 치매교육이 개발되고 실시될 수 있는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is none-quivalent pretest-posttest quasi-experimental study to investigate the effects of movie-based dementia education for nursing students knowledge and attitude toward dementia. Of the 81 nursing students, 39 were in the experimental group and 42 were in the control group. For 4 weeks, the experimental group was provided with dementia education using movies, and the control group was provided with a class based on the traditional lecture method. The data collection took place from August, 2017 to September, 2017. Statistical analysis showed that there was no difference in knowledge and attitude toward dementia between experimental group and control group in pre - test, but there was difference in knowledge toward dementia between experimental group and control group in post - test(t=2.57, p=.012). On the other hand, there was no difference in attitude toward dementia(t=0,537, p=.598). The results of this study can be used as a basic data for the development and implementation of dementia education using movies for the dementia education of nursing college students who will be in charge of dementia care in the future.
