교직교과목 수업을 PBL(Problem Based Learning) 모형수업으로 운영한 학습 성과 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 교직교과목 수업을 PBL(Problem Based Learning) 모형으로 운영한 후 학습의 성과를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구는 2019학년도 1학기에 교육학개론 수업에 참여한 18명의 교직이수대상 학생들을 대상으로 하였으며 총 15주간의 수업을 문제중심학습(PBL) 수업으로 운영하였다. 한 팀의 구성을 4~5명으로 총 4개의 팀으로 선정하였으며 학습의 성과는 문제해결능력, 학생들의 자기평가와 동료평가, 수업만족도, 교수자의 성찰로 알아보았다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, PBL 수업으로 교직교과목 수업을 수강한 예비교사 학생들의 문제해결능력이 향상되었다. 문제의 명료화, 해결방안 모색, 해결방안 선택, 해결책 수행, 평가의 능력이 향상되었다. 둘째, PBL 수업으로 학습의 충실, 조별활동, 지식과 정보의 제공, 주체적인 학습, 적극성, 문제해결능력이 긍정적으로 향상되었다고 응답하였다. 셋째, PBL 수업에 대한 만족도가 매우 높았다. 넷째, 교수자는 학생들이 팀워크를 통해 비판적 사고, 문제해결능력, 타인에 대한 존중과 배려, 책임감, 수업에 대한 호기심, 학습동기, 적극적인 수업태도 등에 긍정적이었다고 평가하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze Learning Outcomes of Teacher Preparation programs with PBL (Problem Based Learning) Model. The study was conducted on 18 students who completed the teaching pedagogy class in the first semester of 2019 and operated a total of 15 weeks as a problem-based learning (PBL) class. The team consisted of four teams with four or five students. The results of the study were assessed by problem solving ability, students self-assessment and peer evaluation, class satisfaction, and instructor s reflection. The results of the study are as follows. First, the problem-solving ability of the preservice teacher students who took the teaching class as a PBL class improved. Problem clarification, finding solutions, selecting solutions, implementing solutions, and evaluating skills have improved. Second, the PBL class students responded that the improvement of learning, group activities, knowledge and information provision, subjective learning, activeness, and problem solving ability were positively improved. Third, the satisfaction with PBL class was very high. Fourth, the instructor evaluated that students were positive about critical thinking, problem-solving ability, respect and consideration for others, responsibility, curiosity about class, motivation for learning, and active class attitude through teamwork.
