국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 청년의 취업스트레스, 청년 집단 소속감, 일반적 자기효능감 및 노인에 대한 태도 간의 관계를 탐색적으로 알아보는 것이다. 구체적으로, 본 연구는 약한 청년 집단 소속감을 가진 집단과 강한 청년 집단 소속감을 가진 집단 간 취업스트레스와 노인에 대한 태도의 부적 인과관계에 일반적 자기효능감의 조절효과가 어떻게 달라지는지를 알아보았다. 이를 위해서 대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 청년 집단 소속감이 약한 연구대상(n=54)과 강한 연구대상(n=50)을 구분해서 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 청년 집단 소속감이 약한 연구대상의 경우, 일반적 자기효능감은 취업스트레스와 노인에 대한 태도 간의 인과적 관계에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 반면 청년 집단 소속감이 강한 연구대상의 경우, 일반적 자기효능감은 취업스트레스가 노인에 대한 태도에 미치는 부적인 영향을 조절하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 구체적으로 일반적 자기효능감이 높아질수록 취업스트레스가 증가함에 따라서 노인에 대한 태도가 더 긍정적이었다.

영문 초록

The goal of this study is to exploratorily investigate the relationships among young adults’ job-seeking stress, their membership of young adult group, their general self-efficacy and their attitude toward the elderly. In particular, the study examined how the moderating effect of young adults’ general self-efficacy on the negative casual relationship between their job-seeking stress and attitude toward the elderly may differ between young adults with a weak and a strong membership of young adult group. To obtain the goal, a survey with university students was conducted. After dividing each research participant into participant groups with a weak membership of young adult group (n=54) and with a strong membership of young adult group (n=50), hierarchical regression analyses were conducted. For participants with a weak membership of young adult group, there was no moderating effect of their general self-efficacy on the causal relationship between job-seeking stress and attitude toward the elderly. However, for participants with a strong membership of young adult group, their general self-efficacy moderated the effect of job-seeking stress on attitude toward the elderly. In particular, the causal relationship between university students’ job-seeking stress and attitude toward the elderly was more strongly positive as their general self-efficacy increased.
