중소병원 간호사의 간호전문직관과 생명의료윤리의식이 윤리적의사결정 자신감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 서술적 조사연구로 중소병원 간호사의 간호전문직관과 생명의료윤리의식이 윤리적의사결정 자신감에 미치는 영향을 확인함으로써 임상의 다양한 윤리적 딜레마 상황에 대한 의사결정 역량개발 프로그램의 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도하였다. 연구대상은 전라남도 소재 중소병원에서 근무경력 1년 이상의 간호사 178명을 편의표집 하였다. 자료수집은 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 2019년 7월 1일부터 7월 10일까지 실시하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 21.0프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson s correlation and Multiple regression을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과를 종합하면 중소병원 간호사의 윤리적의사결정 자신감 정도는 3.47점이었으며, 생명의료윤리의식과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다(r=.31, p<.001). 윤리적의사결정 자신감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 생명의료윤리의식(t=3.96, p<.001)과 일반적 특성 중 연령(t=2.77, p=.006), 윤리강령 인지(t=2.44, p=.016)였으며, 이 변수들의 설명력은 21.4%였다. 중소병원 간호사의 윤리적 의사결정 자신감을 높이기 위해서는 생명의료윤리의식을 높이기 위한 지속적인 교육과 간호사 윤리강령에 대한 강조가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

This study attempts to provide basic data for decision-making capability development program for various ethical dilemma situations by identifying the effect of nurses professionalism and biomedical ethics on ethical decision-making confidence through descriptive investigation. The subjects of this study were 178 nurses with more than one year of work experience at small and medium-sized hospitals in Jeollanam-do, and data collection was conducted from July 1 to July 10, 2019 using a structured questionnaire. To analyze data, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson s correlation and multiple regression were conducted using SPSS/Win 21.0 program. The findings showed that the level of ethical decision making confidence was 3.47, and that there was a positive correlation between ethical decision making confidence and biomedical ethics (r=.31, p<.001). In addition, the factors influencing ethical decision making confidence were biomedical ethics (t=3.96, p<.001) as well as age (t=2.77, p=.006) and ethical code awareness (t=2.44, p=.016), demonstrating R2 21.4%. Based on the results, in order to raise the ethical decision-making confidence of nurses, it is necessary to continue the education for the improvement of biomedical ethics and to emphasize the nurse ethics code.
