임파워먼트가 노인요양원 근무자의 직무만족에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

우리나라에서 대표적인 노양요양기관인 노인요양원에서 근무하는 사람이 노인에게 좋은 질의 서비스를 제공하고 조직에 잘 몰입하기 위해서는 직무에 크게 만족하는 것이 중요하다. 임파워먼트는 노인요양원 근무자의 직무만족에 중요하게 영향을 미치는 요인에 속한다. 하지만 우리나라에서 중소도시에 위치한 노인요양원의 근무자를 대상으로 해서 임파워먼트가 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 살펴본 연구는 거의 없다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중소도시에 위치한 노인요양원에서 일하는 근무자에게 설문조사를 실시해 일반적 특성과 임파워먼트가 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과, 노인요양원 근무자의 월수입, 의미성 요소의 임파워먼트, 영향성 요소의 임파워먼트는 직무만족에 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 그리고 노인요양원 근무자의 직무만족을 가장 잘 예측하는 요인은 의미성 요소의 임파워먼트, 영향성 요소의 임파워먼트, 월수입의 순으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

It is important that employees working at elderly nursing homes, which are the representative nursing care institutions in Korea, are satisfied with their jobs in order to provide good quality service to the elderly and to be well involved in the organizations. Empowerment is a factor that significantly affects the job satisfaction of elderly nursing home employees. However, there are few studies on the effects of empowerment on job satisfaction of employees working at elderly nursing homes located in small and medium-sized cities in Korea. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between empowerment and job satisfaction by conducting a survey on workers working at elderly nursing homes located in small and medium-sized cities. As a result of this study, their monthly income, the meaning component of empowerment, and the influence component of empowerment were statistically significant factors for job satisfaction. The best predictors for their job satisfaction were in the order of empowerment of semantic factors, empowerment of influence factors, and monthly income.
