평생교육으로서의 생태인문학의 가능성과 의의 -실버 생태인문학 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록

‘생태인문학’의 프로그램은 책을 권하는 권독과 독서자들의 이해를 돕기 위한 강연자의 시각자료와 동영상 제공, 그리고 야외 체험학습이라는 입체적 수업내용으로 이루어져 있다. 한 학기에 평균 2번의 야외학습은 문학관, 미술관, 역사체험이 가능한 장소와 이를 둘러싸고 있는 생태학습이 가능한 공간을 기획하는 데서부터 출발한다. 실버세대의 생태인문학 강독은 첫째, 체험학습을 통해 적극적 독서인구로의 유입을 촉진시킨다. 둘째, 세대 간의 이해 및 타자를 이해를 돕는다. 실버세대들의 교양학습은 자식이나 손자세대까지 영향을 줄 수 있는 긍정적 요소가 내재하기 때문이다. 또한 생태인문학을 인문학적 생각과 연관시킴으로써 자신의 삶에 자연스럽게 연동시킬 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 셋째, ‘생태인문학’이 지향하는 키워드는 ‘관계(network)’이다. ‘생태인문학’은 인간중심주의적인 사고 및 평가를 성찰하고 생명체와의 관계성을 통해 자기를 돌아보게 한다. 또, 자기중심적 사고에서 벗어나 타자와 다른 생명체까지 살필 수 있는 혜량을 기른다는 면에서 공진의 가능성을 보여준다.

영문 초록

The Ecology Humanities program has dynamic lectures consisted of book recommendation, visual and video materials provided by lecturer and field studies. The semester s program starts with a planning of possible field study places a such as a literary museum, art gallery and a historical site which provide study opportunities on Ecology Humanities average twice per semester. The literature lecture of Ecology Humanities for the retired provides benefits as below: First, an increasing number of proactive readers via field study is inevitable. Second, it will give much a greater understandings of other generations and perspectives. The study of liberal arts by the retired would provide positive influence toward the next generations. It also has an added benefit to interconnect one s life style by the experience of humanistic knowledge. Third, the keyword of ecology humanities is network . It helps individuals reflect to criticize human-centers perspectives and evaluations via the interconnection with other life forms. As some experts of ecology humanities argue that all life forms interact and do co-evolution, it would open up a possibility of co-evolution having a satellite view of the entire ecosystem and away from a self-centered thought.
