고등학생의 조절초점과 우연대처기술이 진로탐색행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 진로탐색행동의 두 하위영역인 직업탐색행동과 자기탐색행동에 대한 성향적 조절초점과 우연대처기술이 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있었다. 이를 위해 고등학생 116명(남 59명, 여 57명)을 대상으로 진로탐색행동 척도, 성향적 조절초점 척도, 우연대처기술 척도로 구성된 설문지를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료에 대해 상관분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 위계적 회귀분석의 첫 단계에서 예언변수는 조절초점을, 둘째 단계에서는 추가적으로 우연대처기술을 투입하였다. 그 결과, 직업탐색행동과 자기탐색행동 각각에서 조절초점이 통제된 회귀모델에서 우연대처기술만이 유의한 설명력을 가진 변수로 나타났다. 이는 고등학생의 직업탐색행동 및 자기탐색행동, 두 영역에서 동기 요인보다는 늘 준비하고 있는 행위, 즉 우연을 기회로 전환시킬 수 있는 능력이 상대적으로 더 중요한 것이 확인되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 고등학생의 진로상담 및 진로관련 중재 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하는 데 있어 초점을 맞추어야 하는 쟁점에 대해 논하면서 본 연구의 한계와 추후 연구에 대해 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study was carried out to examine the impact of regulatory focus and planned happenstance skill on the career exploration behavior of high school students. For this, surveys were conducted to examine the impact on chronic regulatory focus and planned happenstance skill on career exploration behavior (work-related exploration behavior, self-exploration behavior), and a total of 116 persons (59 males, 57 females) were collected and analyzed. To verify work-related exploration behavior based on the planned happenstance skill controlling for regulatory focus, hierarchial regression was conducted on the data. In the first block. We would force the regulatory focus into the analysis. In the second step. We entered the planned happenstance into the model as a block. And this procedure was applied to the other dependent variable, self-exploration behavior. The results revealed that the planned happenstance was only significantly predictable factor on work-related and self-exploration. In this study, the ability to turn coincidence into an opportunity was found to be a more important variable than a motivational factor for career exploration behavior in high school students. Lastly, it suggested the need to develop and apply career counseling and career-related arbitration programs for high school students.
