글쓰기 윤리에 대한 대학생들의 인식 연구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 대학생들의 글쓰기 윤리에 대한 인식을 살펴 글쓰기 윤리를 제고하는 데 있다. 대학생들의 글쓰기 윤리에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위해 A 대학의 학생 100명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 하고그 결과를 분석하였다. 조사 결과, 57%의 학생들이 글쓰기 윤리를 인식하고 있었으며 95%의 학생이글쓰기 윤리 교육이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 35%의 학생이 표절을 한 적이 있었으며, 표절을 하는 이유는 써야 할 내용을 잘 몰라서라는 응답이 가장 높게 나타났다. 표절 예방 조치로는 교육과 정보 제공이 우선이라고 한 응답이 규제와 처벌보다 약 2배 정도 높게 나타났다. 자료 수집은 인터넷 검색을통해 이루어지는 경우가 가장 많았으며 온라인 검색 시에는 포털 검색을 이용하는 비율이 높았다. 학생들 대부분은 글을 쓸 때 인용을 하고 있었으며, 인용 시에 출처 표시를 해야 한다는 것을 알고 있음에도 불구하고 표시를 하지 않는 학생들도 많았다. 따라서 글쓰기 윤리를 제고하기 위해서는 교육을 적극적으로 실시하고, 표절에 대한 경각심을 환기해야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to enhance ethical writing practices among undergraduates by examining their awareness of writing ethics. To investigate undergraduates' awareness of writing ethics, a survey was conducted among 100 undergraduates at University A, and the results were analyzed. As a result of the survey, 57% of students recognized writing ethics, and 95% of students answered that writing ethics education was necessary. 35% of students had plagiarized, and the reason for plagiarism was that they did not know what to write. Twice as many respondents said that education and information are needed to prevent plagiarism rather than regulations and punishment. Data collection was most often done through Internet search, and the rate of using portal search was high when searching online. Most of the students were quoting when writing, and there were many students who did not mark the source even though they knew that they had to mark the source when quoting. Therefore, it was found that in order to improve writing ethics, education should be actively conducted and awareness of plagiarism should be raised.
