국문 초록

이 연구는 학습으로서의 형성평가가 교실 수업에서 교수·학습과 통합되어 실행되기 위해서 교수자가 고려해야 할 형성평가 설계전략이 무엇인지를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 국내·외 형성평가 관련 선행연구를 조사·분석하였다. 이를 토대로, 형성평가가 교실 수업에서 실행되기 위해 고려해야 할 ‘학습문화 조성, 학습목표 설정, 수행과제 설계, 평가기준 개발, 학습자 참여, 학습자 수준 고려, 피드백 내용구성, 피드백 제공, 수업 개선’의 아홉 가지 설계요소와 22개의 설계전략을 제안하였다. 또한 설계전략의 실행과정을 도식으로 제시하였다. 이 연구는 결과에 대한 평가(AOL)에서 더 나아가 학습을 위한(AFL) 그리고 학습으로서의(AAL) 평가로 실행될 수 있도록 종합적이고 체계적인 형성평가 설계전략을제안함으로써, 형성평가가 교실 수업에서 교수학습과 긴밀하게 연계되어 학습의 과정을 촉진하는 본질적인 기능을 충실히 수행하는 데 기여하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore the formative assessment design strategies that instructors should consider in order to implement formative assessment as learning integrated with teaching and learning in the classroom. To this end, previous studies on formative assessment at home and abroad were examined and analyzed. Based on this, nine design factors and 22 design strategies that should be considered for formative assessment to be implemented in the classroom were proposed: creating a learning culture, setting learning goals, designing performance tasks, developing evaluation criteria, engaging learners, considering learner levels, organizing feedback content, providing feedback, and improving lessons. A diagram of the implementation process of the design strategies were presented. By proposing a comprehensive and systematic design strategy for formative assessment that can be implemented from assessment of results (AOL) to assessment for learning (AFL) and assessment as learning (AAL), this study aims to contribute to the fulfillment of the essential function of formative assessment in the classroom, which is closely linked to the teaching and learning and facilitates the process of learning.
