대학생 자치활동 프로그램의 효과성 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학 비교과 프로그램으로 운영된 대학생 자치활동 프로그램의 효과성을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 특히, 학생 자치활동 프로그램의 교육적 효과성을 셀프리더십 능력 함양을 통해 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 비수도권 소재 A대학 재학생을 대상으로 자치활동 프로그램 참여여부에 따른 셀프리더십의 차이를 분석하였다. 최종적으로 438명의 응답자료를 활용하였으며, 경향점수매칭 후 평균 차이 검증을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 자치활동에 참여한 학생들이 미참여 학생과 비교하여 셀프리더십 인식 수준이 높았다. 이는 자치활동 프로그램이 협력, 의사소통, 문제 해결 능력을 강화하며, 자신의 목표를 스스로 설정하고 이끄는 능력을 키울 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것을 의미한다. 본연구 결과를 토대로 학생 자치활동 프로그램의 중요성을 확인하고, 교육 활동으로서 프로그램 기획 및 운영에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of the student autonomy activity program operated as an extracurricular program at the university to improve self-leadership skills within their college life. The samples include 438 students from A university, and the independent sample t-test was conducted after propensity score matching. As a result of the study, the students who participated in autonomy activities had a higher level of self-leadership awareness compared to the students who did not participate. This means that the autonomy activity program provides an opportunity to strengthen cooperation, communication, and problem-solving skills, and to develop the ability to set and lead one's own goals. Based on the results, the importance of student autonomy activity programs was confirmed from an educational point of view, and implications for program planning and operation as educational activities were suggested.
