국문 초록

본 연구는 커뮤니티 참여디자인 관점에서 제 1차 문화도시의 2023년도 사업별로 시민 참여 행위를 분석하여 유형화하였다. 개별 사업 과정에 있어 시민 참여가 개입되는 시기와 시민의 권한 정도에 초점을두고 크라우드 소싱형, 향유형, 창조형, 생산형과 같은 4개의 참여 유형으로 분류하였다. 첫째, 크라우드 소싱형은 문화도시 사업 기획 단계에서 시민들이 정보 및 자료를 제공하는 형태로 운영되고 있는참여 유형이다. 둘째, 향유형은 교육 프로그램, 축제와 같이 수혜적 입장에서 문화를 소비하고 향유하는 형태로 사업 실행 단계에서 시민들이 참여하는 유형이다. 셋째, 창조형은 기획자 및 참여자를 모집하는 프로그램이거나 예술가 지원 사업 등과 같이 기획 단계에서부터 사업의 결정 권한을 갖고 참여하는 유형이다. 넷째, 생산형은 사업 실행 단계에서 참여하지만 다양한 결과물을 생산해냄으로써 시민들의 참여 행위가 사업의 완성도에 많은 영향을 미치며 권한을 갖는 유형이다. 본 연구는 문화도시 조성사업의 시민 참여 방식에 대한 이해를 높이고 후속 연구의 토대가 될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study categorized citizen participation behavior for each 2023 project of the first cultural city from the perspective of community participation design. Focusing on the timing of citizen participation and the degree of citizen authority in individual business processes, it was classified into four types of participation: crowdsourcing, enjoyment, creation, and production. First, the crowdsourcing type is for citizens to provide information and materials during the planning stage of the cultural city project. Second, the enjoyment type is for citizens to participate in the project execution stage in the form of consuming and enjoying culture from a beneficiary position as educational programs and festivals. Third, the creative type is to provide decision-making authority in the project from the planning stage, such as a program recruiting planners, participants or an artist support project. Fourth, the production type is for citizens to participate in the project implementation stage to produce various results, as it provides a significant impact on completing the project with authority. This study will increase understanding of citizen participation methods in cultural city projects and serve as a foundation for follow-up research.
