국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 졸업예정자의 영어학습동기가 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로준비행동과 관계가 있는지, 그리고 영어학습동기와 진로준비행동의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감이 매개하는지 알아보기 위함이다. 이를 위하여 충청남도에 위치한 대학에 재학 중인 288명의 졸업예정자를 대상으로 온라인설문을 실시했다. 본 연구의 결과로, 필연적 제2언어 자아는 진로준비행동 중 목표달성활동에 영향을 미치지만, 이상적 제2언어 자아는 진로준비행동의 정보수집활동에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 외적동기와 이상적 제2언어 자아 동기는 목표선택을 매개로 하여 목표달성활동과 정보수집활동을 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 몇 가지 시사점을 토론하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to explore the effect of prospective college graduates’ English learning motivation on career decision-making self-efficacy and career preparation behavior, and whether career decision-making self-efficacy mediates in the relationship between English learning motivation and career preparation behavior. To this end, an online survey was conducted on 288 prospective graduates enrolled in an university in Chungcheongnam-do. As a result of this study, ought-to L2 self directly affects goal achievement, but ideal L2 self affects the lack of job information among career preparation behavior. In addition, as a result of analyzing the mediating effect of career decision-making self-efficacy, it was found that extrinsic motivation and ideal L2 self motivation increased goal achievement and information collection through goal selection as a medium. Based on the results, some implications are discussed.
