국문 초록

본고의 목적은 재미 한인 교포 1.5세대 작가 이민진(Min Jin Lee)의 장편소설 <파친코, Pachinko>를제재로 활용하여 다문화 문학 작품 읽기 수업을 설계하고자 하는 데에 있다. 2장에서는 관련 선행연구들을 분석하였고, 3장에서는 먼저 작가와 작품 개요를 살피고, 등장인물과 서사 구조 및 내용 전개의흐름을 살펴보았다. 또한 <파친코>의 어떤 요소들이 다문화 문학 교육의 제재로 활용 가능한지에 대해논의하였다. 4장에서는 다문화 문학 교육을 위한 이론적 토대를 구축하고 수업 설계 원리 및 유의점들에 대해 논의하였다. 마지막으로 실제 수업을 설계하고 차시별 학습활동을 구안하였다. 수업의 목표와내용, 작품의 서사 전개를 고러하여 전체 수업을 6차시로 나누어 설계한 후, 각 차시별 수업 목표 및학습 활동을 구성하였다. 이 논문은 기존의 <파친코> 관련 연구들과 달리, 다문화 교육 제재로서 활용가능성을 탐색하고 구체적인 교육 방안을 마련하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to design a reading class for multicultural literature using the novel by Min Jin Lee, a 1.5th generation Korean-American author. In Chapter 2, reviews were conducted, and in Chapter 3, the author and the outline of the work were first examined, and the characteristics, narrative structure, and content development flow were examined. It also discussed what essential characteristics and elements of can be used as materials for multicultural literature education. Chapter 4 established a theoretical foundation for multicultural literature education and discussed the principles and points of instructional design. Finally, actual classes were designed and learning activities for each class were devised. After designing the entire class by dividing it into six classes by considering the goals and contents of the class and the narrative development of the work, the class goals and learning activities for each class were organized. Unlike previous studies on , this paper is meaningful in that it explored the possibility of use as a multicultural education material and prepared practical instructional design plans.
