국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 전문대학교에 개설된 K-POP과의 개설 현황을 살펴보고 교육과정을 분석함으로써 고등교육으로써의 K-POP의 현실을 고찰하고 발전 방향을 제시하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 7개 전문대학의현황과 교육과정 구성 및 교과목 운영을 분석하였고 그 결과 일부 공통점과 함께 시사점이 있음을 도출하였으며 취업 및 진로와 관련하여서는 현실과 교육 과정 간의 일관성이 부족한 부분이 있음을 발견하였다. K-POP과 교육과정은 기존의 실용음악과와 실용댄스과가 존재하는 현실에서 그 차별성과 독창성을 찾아 개발하고 극대화하는 것이 관건이다. 또한 교육과정이 취창업과 연결될 수 있도록 현실적이고도 합리적인 방향을 찾아 개편을 거듭해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the current status of K-POP programs offered by specialized universities in South Korea and analyze their educational curricula, in order to reflect on the reality of K-POP as a higher education subject and propose directions for its development. To achieve this, the study analyzed the status, curriculum structure, and course offerings of K-POP programs in seven specialized universities. The results revealed both commonalities and implications, indicating a lack of consistency between the current situation and the educational curriculum, particularly concerning employment and career paths. Given the coexistence of K-POP with existing programs in practical music and practical dance, the key lies in maximizing its distinctiveness and originality. Furthermore, there is a need for ongoing revisions in the curriculum to ensure practicality and coherence with career opportunities and entrepreneurship.
