국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국 성인의 갈등관리역량 측정도구를 개발하고 타당화 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 선행연구 고찰을 통해 갈등관리역량의 구성요소와 예비문항을 선정하였고, 전문가들의 내용 타당도 검토와델파이 조사를 거쳐 측정도구를 개발하였다. 또한, 설문조사를 통해 만 19세 이상의 한국 성인 천 명으로부터 수집한 자료를 활용하여 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 준거타당도 검증과 측정동일성 검증을 순차적으로 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 측정도구의 타당도와 신뢰도가 확보된 것으로 나타났다. 본연구를 통해 개발된 갈등관리역량의 측정도구는 협력과 타협의 2개 구성요소와 총 7개 문항으로 최종확정되었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 측정도구는 성인 개인이 자신의 갈등관리역량 수준을 진단하고, 갈등조정이나 갈등관리 관련 기관에서는 갈등관리 컨설팅 또는 갈등관리역량 강화를 위한 교육프로그램 개발과 평가에 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop and validate a scale measuring conflict-management competency of Korean adults. In order to achieve the goal we conducted an extensive literature review on conflict management, which led to deriving 3 constructs and 14 items. A Delphi study was carried out to confirm constructs and an item pool prepared in previous stage. Following the Delphi study, we surveyed one-thousand adults in Korea to collect data for testing the validity and the reliability of the scale. We examined the validity of the scale using factor analysis, predictive validity and measurement equivalence test. The validity and the reliability value of the scale turned out to be satisfactory enough to apply the scale to Korean adults in general. As a result of the validation, this study confirmed that conflictmanagement competency scale consists of 2 sub-dimensions and 7 items. The scale developed in this study can be utilized by an individual adult in diagnosing the level of his or her conflict-management competency. Organizations dealing with conflicts can also apply the scale to developing and evaluating educational programs for adults.
