국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 북한이탈주민의 유튜브 방송 담화에 나타나는 반복의 기능을 분석하는 것이다. 이를위해 <남북공동구역 윤설미TV> 채널의 2인 방송 중 확률 표본 추출 방법으로 10개의 영상을 선정하고, CLOVA Note와 WaveSurfer 프로그램을 활용하여 영상 속 담화를 전사하였다. 전사된 내용을 토대로 북한이탈주민 유튜브 담화에 나타나는 반복을 본인 반복과 타인 반복으로 구분하여 반복의 기능을 분석하였다. 그 결과 반복은 담화 진행 기능, 정보 전달 기능, 정서적 기능, 정체성 형성 기능을 담당하고 있었다. 이를 통해 반복이 단순한 언어 현상이 아니라 북한이탈주민의 담화에서 의사소통 전략으로 작용하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 사용한 데이터는 한정된 범위와 규모로 수집되어결과를 일반화하기에는 한계가 있으나, 북한이탈주민의 의사소통 특성과 반복의 전략적 기능에 대해 새로운 시각을 제공해 주었다는 점에서 의의가 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the functions of repetition in the YouTube discourse of North Korean defectors. For this purpose, 10 videos were selected by probability sampling method from the two-person broadcasts of channel. The discourse in the videos was transcribed using CLOVA Note and WaveSurfer programs. Based on the transcribed data, the functions of repetition in the YouTube discourse of North Korean defectors were analyzed by dividing repetition into self-repetition and other-repetition. The results showed that repetition performed four major functions: discourse progression, information delivery, emotional, and identity formation. This confirmed that repetition is not a simple linguistic phenomenon, but a communication strategy in the discourse of North Korean defectors. The data used in this study were collected from a limited range and scale, so there are limitations to generalize the results of the study. However this study has significance in that it provides a new perspective on the communication characteristics and strategic functions of repetition of North Korean defectors.
