아동극 감상 교육을 위한 사례 연구

국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 아동극 감상의 경험을 풍성하게 만들기 위하여, 대상과 공연 전/중/후를 고려하여 설계한 감상 교육의 사례를 탐구하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위해 아동극 감상과 관련한 선행연구를 검토하였고, 국내 아동극 극단에서 실제로 설계하고 적용한 감상 교육 프로그램을조사하여 분석하였다. 극단 ‘올리브와 찐콩’, 극단 ‘민들레’, 극단 ‘이야기 양동이’, 극단 ‘굿네이버스’의 사례를 대상으로 하였고, 2023년 3월부터 12월까지 연구를 설계하고 분석하여 논문을 작성하였다. 결과 아동극 감상 방법을 설계하는 사례를 조사한 결과, 아동극 극단에서는 어린이들이 주관적인 의미를 구성하고, 객관적인 평가를지향하도록 감상 활동을 설계할 때 대상과 공연 전/중/후를 고려한 프로그램을 다양하게 개발하고 있었다. 공연 전 감상 방법의 유형에는 극단 ‘올리브와 찐콩’의 공연 <나와 몬스터 그리고 가방>의 예술놀이 워크북 등이 포함되었다. 공연 중 감상 방법의 유형에는굿네이버스의 성폭력 예방 인형극이 포함되었으며, 공연 중간에 인형극에 등장하는 인물이 나와서 관객들과 대화하는 방법을 사용하였다. 공연 후 감상 방법의 유형에는 창작극단 ‘이야기 양동이’에서 관객의 나이를 기준으로 세분화된 활동지를 나눠주며 공연후 다양한 활동을 하도록 안내한 사례나, 극단 ‘민들레’에서 공연 관람 후 어린이가 신체 활동, 미술 활동, 토론 활동 중에서 적절한것을 선택하여 활동하는 것이 주목할 만한 사례였다. 결론 아동극 극단에서 개발한 다양한 프로그램을 바탕으로 앞으로 더 많은 연극 감상 방법들을 논의하고 개발하여 아동극 감상 방법을 풍성하게 만들어야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine some cases of Teaching Children's Theatre Appreciation designed in consideration of objects and before/after performances in order to enrich the experience of watching a children's theater. Methods To this end, prior research related to performance appreciation was reviewed, and the appreciation education program actually designed and applied by the Korean children's theater company was investigated and analyzed. The cases of the theater company ‘Olive and Jin Kong’, the theater company ‘Dandelion’, the theater company ‘Story Bucket’, and the theater company ‘Good Neighbors’ were targeted, and the research was designed and analyzed from March to December 2023 to write a paper. Results According to a survey of cases of designing performance viewing methods, the children's theater company was developing various programs that children can do before, during, and after the performance when designing appreciation activities to construct subjective meanings and aim for objective evaluation. The types of methods of appreciation before the performance included the art play workbook of the performance of the theater company “Olive and Jin Kong”, “Me, the Monster, and the Bag”. The types of methods of appreciation during the performance included Good Neighbors' puppet show to prevent sexual violence, and a character in the puppet show appeared in the middle of the performance to communicate with the audience. As for the type of appreciation method after the performance, the creative theater company “Story Bucket” distributed subdivided activity sheets based on the audience's age and guided children to do various activities after the performance, or the notable case was that children selected from among physical activities, art activities, and discussion activities after watching the performance at the theater company “Dandelion”. Conclusions Based on various programs developed by these cases, Children's theater companies should discuss and develop more ways to watch performances in the future to enrich the way to watch children's plays.
