토픽모델링 분석을 이용한 학습역량 연구 동향 분석 및 대학 학습지원 방향 모색

국문 초록

목적 대학들은 학생의 학습역량 강화를 위해 여러 지원을 확대해 왔다. 그러나 학습역량에 대한 의미와 해석이 다양하고 모호한 점이 있어 학습지원 목표 설정 및 추진전략 수립을 위한 방향성 도출에 불확실성이 야기되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제 인식하에 텍스트마이닝과 네트워크 분석에 의한 토픽모델링 방법을 통해 학습역량 관련 연구들의 동향 분석과 학습역량 관련 토픽 추출을 실시하여 학습역량 관련 요인을 정리해봄으로써 대학 학습지원 체계 수립을 위한 근거자료를 마련하는데 목적을 두었다. 방법 학습역량에 대한 관련된 학술논문 621편의 제목과 초록, 발행연도 등의 정보를 수집하여 키워드 네트워크 분석 및 LDA 기반 토픽모델링 기법을 활용하여 기초통계 분석, 핵심어 선정, 토픽 추출, 연구 추이 등을 분석하였다. 결과 학습역량 관련 가장 많은 빈도를 나타낸 키워드는 집단이었으며, 핵심어 선정결과는 학습몰입, 자기효능감, 자기조절학습능력, 학습공동체, 문제해결능력, 협동학습, 지식, 창의성이었다. 토픽모델링 결과로는 5가지 토픽이 추출되었으며 학습동기, 학습분석, 학습실행, 학습관계, 학습확장으로 명명되었다. 다음으로 학습역량 관련 연구 추이 분석결과 학습역량 연구는 2010년 이후 지속적으로 증가되어 왔으며 2015년 이후 학습 관계, 학습확장 주제의 연구가 증가되어 온 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 결론 본 연구는 미래 인재양성을 위해 현재 학습 관련 연구들에서 언급된 키워드를 파악하고 관련 토픽을 추출하여 제시한 점, 대학에서의 학생 학습역량 증진을 위한 효과적인 지원 방향 모색의 기초자료를 제시하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives Universities have expanded various support to strengthen students' learning capabilities. However, the meaning and interpretation of learning capabilities were diverse and ambiguous, causing uncertainty in deriving directions for setting learning support goals and establishing promotion strategies. Recognizing these problems, this study aims to prepare evidence for establishing a university learning support system by analyzing trends in studies related to learning competency and extracting topics related to learning competency through text mining and network analysis. Methods Basic statistical analysis, core word selection, topic extraction, and research trend were analyzed using keyword network analysis and LDA-based topic modeling techniques by collecting information on the titles and abstracts of 621 academic papers on learning competencies. Results The keywords related to learning competency were groups, and the results of selecting key words were learning immersion, self-efficacy, self-regulated learning ability, learning community, problem-solving ability, cooperative learning, knowledge, and creativity. As a result of topic modeling, five topics were extracted, and they were named as learning motivation, learning analysis, learning execution, learning relationship, and learning expansion. Next, as a result of analysis of research trends related to learning competency, it was found that research on learning competency has continued to increase since 2010, and research on learning relationships and learning expansion topics has increased since 2015. Conclusions This study is meaningful in that it identified the keywords mentioned in current learning-related studies to foster future talent, extracted and presented related topics, and presented basic data on finding effective support directions to improve student learning competency in universities.
