국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 COVID-19 영향에 대한 국공립어린이집 원장의 인식을 조사함으로써 팬데믹 상황이 어린이집에 미친 영향을 구체적으로 분석하고, 향후 유사한 상황에 효율적으로 대처할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 방법 이를 위해 서울 S구 소재 국공립어린이집 원장 10명을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 면담(focus group interview)을 시행하였다. 면담 녹음 자료와 원장들의 기록지는 삼각연구법을 통해 연구자들이 분석하였다. 결과 COVID-19 영향에 대한 어린이집 원장의 인식을 분석한 결과 첫째, COVID-19의 영향으로 어린이집을 총괄하는 기존의 어린이집 원장의 역할과 직무는 감염관리책임자로서의 직무가 더해지면서 돌발상황에 대한 대처가 필요했던 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, COVID-19는 어린이집 원장에게 감염병 노출, 대응지침의 변경, 놀이중심에 대한 교육부족, 비대면 소통의 어려움 등 다양한 어려움을 야기시켰다. 셋째, 향후 COVID-19의 재유행이나 새로운 팬데믹에 대한 대처방안으로 체계적인 매뉴얼의 필요성을 제시하였다. 결론 본 연구는 COVID-19가 어린이집 보육환경에 대부분 부정적인 측면의 변화를 유발했으나 긍정적인 측면의 변화도 초래했음을 확인할 수 있었다는 점에서 연구의 의의를 지닌다. 지역과 부모의 사회경제적 지위에 따른 영유아 발달의 비교와 연구대상을 확대하여 종합적인 연구가 수행되어야 함을 후속연구로 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, analyzes specifically the impact of the pandemic situation on public childcare centers by investigating the perception of the daycare center director on the COVID-19 impact and seeks ways to efficiently cope with similar situations in the future. Methods To this end, a focus group interview was conducted on 10 heads of daycare centers in S-gu, Seoul. Interview recordings and ledger recordings were analyzed by researchers through triangular studies. Results The first result of analyzing the perception of the daycare center director on the COVID-19 impact was that the role and job of the existing daycare center director in charge of the daycare center due to the influence of COVID-19 needed to cope with unexpected situations. Second, COVID-19 caused various difficulties to the head of the daycare center, such as exposure to infectious diseases, changes in response guidelines, lack of education on play-oriented, and difficulty in non-face-to-face communication. Third, the necessity of a systematic manual was suggested as a way to cope with the resurgence of COVID-19 or a new kind of pandemic in the future. Conclusions This study indicates that COVID - 19 was mostly caused negative changes in the childcare environment of daycare centers, but also caused positive changes at the same time. It was proposed as a follow-up study that a comprehensive study should be conducted by expanding the comparison of infant development according to the socioeconomic status of regions and parents.
