미래사회 대비 미래학교에 대한 제주특별자치도 교원의 인식 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 미래사회를 대비한 미래학교에 대한 제주특별자치도 중학교 교원의 인식을 분석하여 그 정책적 시사점을 탐색하는 데 있었다. 방법 이를 위하여 제주도 소재 중학교를 대상으로 층화표집하여 교원 695명에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사는 2022년 4월 8일부터 4월 22일까지 이루어졌으며 통계량이 정확하지 않은 자료를 제외하고 629부가 통계분석에 사용되었다. 통계분석으로는 기술통계와 빈도분석 그리고 카이검증을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 학교 유형과 교원의 직급에 관계없이 미래사회의 변화 중 학교교육에 가장 큰 영향을 줄 것이라고 여겨지는 1순위 요인은 ‘인공지능, 빅데이터 등 4차 산업혁명’의 응답비율이 가장 높았다. 둘째, 4차 산업혁명으로 인하여 가장 크게 영향을 받을 것으로 예상되는 학교교육의 구성요소는 ‘수업방법’과 함께 ‘기술인프라’의 변화로 나타났다. 셋째, 미래학교 설립⋅운영의 성공요인에 대한 인식에 있어서 ‘국가 및 교육청의 제도적, 경제적 지원’의 응답비율이 가장 높게 나타났다. 결론 미래학교는 4차 산업혁명의 기술주의 함정을 극복하면서 교육을 가장 중요한 축에 두고 설계해야 하고, 학습자 중심으로 학교교육의 구성요소가 지원되도록 할 필요가 있으며, 교육부와 교육청의 공공적 책무성에 입각하여 추진되어야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to analyze middle school teachers’ perception on the future schools for future society in Jeju Special-governing Province, and to explore the policy implications. Methods To accomplish this goal, survey method was used and a survey was done from April 8th through 22nd. The participants were 695 school teachers who were selected by stratified sampling, and just 629 cases were utilized for statistic analysis. Descriptive analysis, frequency analysis and χ-square test were employed to analyze the data. Results First, regardless of school type and teachers’ position, teachers perceived highly that the first priority variable to influence the schooling in future society was the fourth industrial revolution factors such as AI, big data, and etc. Second, the results indicated that classroom instruction method and technology infra-structure of future school were the major elements affected by the fourth industrial revolution. Third, the teachers perceived highly that the successful factors of the establishment and operation for future school was the financial and administrative supports from Ministry of Education as well as Provincial Education Offices. Conclusions Future school should be designed by the vision that core factor of the school is education by overcoming the technology focused traps. The all elements of future school need to be supported by learner centered ideas. Also, future school should be driven forward based on public accountabilities of Ministry of Education and Provincial Education Offices.
