국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 행복한 삶에 대한 실천적 접근을 위해 아리스토텔레스의 ｢니코마코스 윤리학｣을 중심으로 행복에 대한 철학적 개념을 알아보고, 행복한 삶을 위해 아리스토텔레스가 말한 실천적 지혜를 바탕으로 성격적 탁월성 및 중용의 품성상태를 통한 실천적 도덕교육에 대한 방안을 알아보는 데 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 아리스토텔레스의 니코마코스 윤리학과 관련된 선행연구 논문을 살피며 문헌 연구를 하였고, 분석한 내용을 바탕으로 현행 초등학교 도덕과 교육과정의 기본적인 실천지침과 관련하여 교육현장에서 실천 가능한 교육방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 결과 결과적으로 아리스토텔레스의 실천적 지혜에 따르는 중용적 활동은 도덕적인 활동 즉 덕 있는 활동이며, 이러한 덕이 있는 활동은 일회성으로 끝나는 것이 아니라 교육적으로 지속성을 갖고 이루어질 때 비로서 덕이 있다고 인정될 수 있다. 실천적 지혜의 형성이 이론적 지혜의 완벽한 이해를 전제로 오랜 삶의 경험을 통해 가능하다는 점에서 초등학교 현장에서 학생들이 실천적 지혜에 대한 이해를 실천을 통해 습관화 할 수 있게 하는 교육학적인 안목이 요구된다. 결론 그러므로 학생들이 진정한 행복을 영위할 수 있도록 덕에 대한 지식적인 대화로 학생들에게 접근하기보다 스스로 실천적 지혜를 성취하는 경험을 많이 하여 생활 가운에 습관화가 될 수 있도록 하는 교육환경이 도덕교육에서의 중요한 목적이 되어야 하며, 스스로 자기 이해를 통하여 실천적 지혜를 형성하고 구현할 수 있는 덕의 습관화의 토대를 마련할 수 있도록 학교 경험에서 아리스토텔레스의 행복개념에 따른 실천적 도덕교육의 접목이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, for a practical approach to a happy life, the philosophical concept of happiness is explored centered on Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics. The purpose of this study is to find out the plan for practical moral education through. Methods To this end, we conducted a literature study by examining the preceding research papers related to Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics, and based on the analyzed content, we tried to suggest educational methods that can be practiced in the educational field in relation to the current elementary school morality and basic practical guidelines of the curriculum. Results As a result, a moderate activity according to Aristotle's practical wisdom is a moral activity, that is, a virtuous activity, and such virtuous activity does not end as a one-time thing, but can be recognized as virtuous only when it is carried out with educational continuity. Since the formation of practical wisdom is possible through long life experiences on the premise of a perfect understanding of theoretical wisdom, it is necessary to have a pedagogical perspective that enables students to habituate the understanding of practical wisdom through practice in the field of elementary school. Conclusions Therefore, an important purpose in moral education is an educational environment that allows students to achieve practical wisdom by themselves rather than approaching them through a knowledgeable dialogue about virtue so that they can lead true happiness and become a habit in life. It is necessary to incorporate practical moral education according to Aristotle's concept of happiness in school experience so that it can lay the foundation for habituation of virtue that can form and implement practical wisdom through self-understanding.
