정신분석학과 음양론의 성격에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 성격심리학적 방법론을 적용하여 S.Freud의 정신분석학과 음양론을 성격의 구조적, 역동적, 변화·발달적, 심리 적응적 관점에서 유사성과 차이점을 규명해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 정신분석에서는계통 발생학적 무의식, 무의식 개념, 본능의 변화와 적응을, 음양론에서는 음양의 개념과 원리, 변화·발달을 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과, 대립적인 이원론적 구조라는 점은 유사하지만, 정신분석은 삼중(三 重) 구조, 음양론은 오중(五重) 구조라는 점은 차이가 있었다. 또한 역동적 에너지를 다룬다는 점은 유사하나 음양론은 시간 개념이 내포된 순환적 변화를 본다는 점에서 차이가 있었다. 그리고, 변화하고발달한다는 점은 유사하나 정신분석은 질적인, 음양론은 양적인 변화를 의미한다는 차이가 있었으며, 균형 상태를 적응 상태로 보는 관점은 유사하나 정신분석은 최적의 평형 상태를, 음양론에서는 상대적균형을 적응으로 보는 차이가 있는 것으로 보아 정신분석과 음양론은 네 가지 관점별로 유사성이 존재하지만, 순환성, 상대성, 심층적 이해와 포괄적 이해라는 점에서는 확연한 차이를 보인다. 이에 앞으로인간 이해를 위한 정신분석적 접근의 실제적 지평이 넓혀지기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study studied similarities and differences from structural, dynamic, change·developmental, and psychological perspectives of the psychological analysis of yin and yang and S.Freud's psychoanalysis by using psychological methodology. For this purpose, in Psychoanalysis, phylogenetic unconscious, unconscious concept, change and adaptation of instinct, and in yin-yang theory, concept and principle, change development were examined. As a result, both theory have a dualistic structure with two opposing energies, but psychoanalysis had a triple structure and yin and yang theory had a pentagonal one. Both theory were similar in dealing with dynamic energy but psychoanalysis does not include the concept of time and circulation. The change·development of yin-yang theory mean cyclical change, whereas that of psychoanalysis means change of qualitative development of self-development. Also both have a balanced state is viewed as an adaptive state, but psychoanalysis sees an optimal equilibrium state and yin and yang sees a relatively balanced one. Both theories have similarities from four perspectives, but they show a clear difference in terms of circulation, relativity, in-depth and comprehensive understanding. Therefore, future research is expected to expand the practical horizon of theory for human understanding.
